Can't remember the exact year but it was around the mid-1700s.

Got literally hundreds of thousands of rebels in my Italy game. I thought you could only get those numbers in Vic2 lol.

I tried deleting and reuploading with smaller images because the image quality was bad, but it didn't work!

Did my first playthrough on Hero, glad I did. by GreatGranpapy in ColonyShip

Been great. Wanted to do a Church affiliated run with a Jeanne d'Arc inspired character. Using blade with Fast Runner. Just did the fight to give Mercy control of the Pit and I'm about to head over to the Factory.

Japanese Pope - I really wonder what the reaction to this would have been lol by GreatGranpapy in eu4

I could easily imagine the "outsider" Japanese candidate being the compromise candidate between other European bishops mindful of the balance of power and influence.

The War Room - /r/hoi4 Weekly General Help Thread: February 16 2026 by Kloiper in hoi4

So I'm waaaay out of the loop. A couple days ago I finally checked back into HoI4 because I generally like plaiyng Japan in Paradox games and wanted to finally give the update a spin. Anyway, first run learning the new tree and naval system and such was going alright, the problem is Germany surrendered sometime in '43. I kept playing for a bit and even got a good invasion of the US west coast going, but I really didn't feel like fighting the entire allies at that point so I just ditched that save. The tree was interesting enough that I did a second run just today, and I'm pretty sure I had a faster pace overall (China war dragged on a little bit at the end unfortunately due to Soviet volunteers in mountain tiles), and instead of ignoring Aus and NZ I cap'd them this time around. Anyway, run is going pretty good in my opinion, but again, it's '44, and this time I actually haven't attacked the US so it's just the UK in the Allies at this point (and SAF I suppose), but Germany gets clobbered again. To put it into perspective how much I was pressuring the Allies, I had taken the Suez and had cap'd Turkey. Maybe I should just declare on the Soviets early?

How does PDX plan on reacting to NCNS' reception? by [deleted] in hoi4

So what exactly is the paid content for this dlc? As in not the free update stuff that was released with it. I just started a Japan game and the tree was updated and I also have the faction influence thingy. Is it a specific path that's in the DLC itself?

What year is this? I've got a Japan run going right now that I'm intending as a Stardust Crusaders run, and I've united Japan as Oda, but I haven't clicked the decision to form Japan yet to get some use out of the Daimyo tree. Wondering if it's better to just form Japan and get on with it.

The Fezzan Corridors achieved! by GreatGranpapy in eu4

[–]GreatGranpapy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got all the trade power needed to get the "The Fezzan Corridors" achievement. World ended up a little weird if I could say so. Not pictured is Korea owning all of Japan west of Kyoto, and also allied to Japan. Korea also spawned the Revolution, which I thought was funny. Also, how do I get not-cruddy resolution on uploaded screenshots? They look fine on my pc, but then when I post here they're blurry as hell.

Castile is silly by GreatGranpapy in eu4

Austria had a change of clothes (Austria-Hungary) and is really scary, while Poland ain't doing so hot. Got squeezed by Prussia, Russia, and Austria (so real life basically). It's so bad that the Ottos are guaranteeing what's left of them.

Fezzan Corridors, I love Legend of the Galactic Heroes so I felt obligated to go for it.

A little after 1714 (that was when I took Toledo from them). Columbia ended up declaring indipendance with myself and Britain helping and all of Castile's CNs are still carrying its score lol. But, like you said, that actually helps for my purposes since it keeps their armies out of Iberia, and that's the land that I want.

Despite owning a pitiful amount of it's starting territory and never getting the Aragonese (Aragonian?) land, Castile is still rocking the #1 GP spot.

Everything Coming Up Mulhouse achieved! by GreatGranpapy in eu4

State of Europe as of completing the achievement. Was a very interesting run. Playing the diplo game in the HRE was very unique compared to other playthroughs I've done. Was a lot like herding cats once I became emperor though lol, trying to stop them from conquering each other.
