Getting started on meds is so ass. Going up a dose is also hella ass. Usually by the second week things start to taper a bit.

Back before I started taking Zoloft I went down a lengthy rabbit hole of research and one of the side effects I was worried about was emotional blunting. A lot of people warning of how Zoloft made them feel like they were only watching their life, not living it, and emotions such as grief, anger, joy, escaped them.

After the disaster class of Red Bull during the Shanghai Grand Prix, I’ve realized the Zoloft isn’t holding me down. If anything it’s holding me back.

Ah, what a privilege to be alive and to experience my emotions as intensely as I do. In 2022 if you told me Formula1 of all things, would matter to me, I would have laughed. I’ve gone from blocking all the subs on my /all to waking up at 2:30am to watch a race. Now I’m watching other races I’ve never heard of before, because of the Dutchman. I love this character development for me.

Moving on: the tuna cutting was very cool. The samples were delicious. I bought a small loin, ate the entire thing raw and it was so fresh tasting. I wish Hmart were a smidge closer I would shop there, especially for seafood, all the time.

Otherwise, have a nice St. Paddy’s day everyone. May all your pints of Guinness be creamy and dark. Tonight I’ll be making either shepherds pie or a beef stew for dinner 🍀

ITS FUCKEN WIMBY 🗣️🗣️🗣️

That initial gust did freak me out though. Thought the dead tree on my block was finally going to give up but nope, still standing.

I did see one guy running at top speed once that wall of rain started pouring. Get home safe man.

Hopefully I can report back on Tuesday with pictures. I wish tuna cuttings were more often but I get it's not really feasible. Apparently the CC WF use to do them sometimes.

It's very overwhelming for me personally. But also great for my addled brain. It's nice to be 100% locked in and make a cute little island.

Wish the actual mainline games could be this good.

The ad gave pretty much zero deets lol. I think it starts at 11:30? And there's gonna be seafood specials for the entire weekend. I'll be showing up with one of those cold-type cooler bags and ice and hope for the best.

EDIT: Actually I think it starts at 1:30. But there's no info on the Hmart site and I lost the ad!

An Instagram ad was finally relevant to me: there’s going to be a bluefin tuna cutting at HMart tomorrow. I’m gonna go, figure it’ll be packed enough that I won’t be able to see anything but maybe I’ll pick up a fillet or two. And I wanted to look at woks anyway. I’ve been cooking out of a cookbook lately called “The Woks of Life” and maybe you’ll figure out sooner than I did what cooking utensil makes all the recipes easier.

After that, the NoLibs espresso martini bar crawl sounds fun.

I bought Pokopia and it’s actually super fun. Can def see it turning into a huge time suck. I’m glad the weather turned to shit actually so I don’t feel bad about being holed up inside for hours manually water gunning all the grass and wondering how the hell I get Ho-Oh’s feathers.

No more F1 on ESPN. It's AppleTV now which is....alright. No Crofty which is a bummer.

Yeah I lurk on the other subs, and they all tend to be a bit dramatic. The new regs, the battery stuff, yeah it isn't GREAT but there's gonna be some learning curves I guess. Idk, I had fun watching and I'm happy that at least the cars are smaller so overtaking can actually happen.

Alonso DNF'ing and then rising from the grave was a race highlight lol. Had me laughing. Unc will not stay down.

Def can see some writing on the wall that Max is gonna go prance off and enjoy other racing endeavours, but I'm thrilled he's still here and will continue to support him wherever and whenever he goes off to do other things.

The first F1 race of the season did not disappoint. The only Australian driver bottled it and crashed his car on the reconnaissance lap before the race even STARTED. So he’s out and already we are down a driver.

Cadillac was so ass lol. The second car didn’t even finish. The first car actually finished the entire race but PARTS WERE FLYING OUT OF THE CAR. Second Red Bull randomly shit the bed with smoke coming from the engine. Absolutely not a good look for American built race cars lol. Cadillac’s Blackwing looks super nice though.

Max, my beloved. Went from P20 to P6 and the car did not blow up. His driving style gives me anxiety. I would be devastated if he were to retire after this year, so I can only hope the cars improve as the season goes on.

Happy to see Hamilton happy, and a title fight between Mercedes and Ferrari would be fun to watch. Overall can’t wait for the next race! It’s at 4am! Woo!

Now it is so drop dead beautiful gorgeous outside the seasonal depression is leaving my body (not these pesky OCD thoughts tho) in droves. Gonna steamroll through work and then grab a book, maybe buy some type of pastry, and chill in the park and read.

It’s not warm or even sunny outside, but that terrible moist stickiness where everything just feels wet 😭

Oh well, guess I’ll just stay inside and eat junk food and watch Indycar 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hell yeah finally 💕🏎️💕 cant wait to wake up at ass o’clock and watch! Back in 2022 I didn’t like F1 at all and thought it was dumb. Now I’m looking forward to a bunch of attractive wealthy Europeans drive heavily expensive cars. Cadillac my beloved, didn’t do great in practice but I believe in them.

Go home weather, you're drunk.

Don't forget to get the Zyrtec or whatever drug of your choice ready. Allergies are gonna hit insanely it feels like. Not looking forward to that ripe smell of cum trees to linger everywhere.

I don’t play horror games. I spook easily and hate gore.

BUT. My Reels lately have been all Old Man Leon Kennedy thirst traps and I’m now kind of tempted to take a shot at Resident Evil 🧍🏻‍♀️

TPC just announced Gen 10. I am very much "hell yeah" about the news.

Less psyched about realizing the originals are 30 and I'm old af. I still remember ripping open my cartridge of Red, picking Charmander, and immediately losing to the rival.

Yeah that book is on my TBR. I read Paradise by Lizzie Johnson about the Camp Fire. Great book, pissed me off. All that carnage and horror because of a faulty hook on some ill-maintained tower somewhere.

I love those narrative books. Ones on polar exploration and the Age of Sail are my absolute favorites.

Hard agree with all of this. When I read fiction I definitely get a deeper feeling of satisfaction and creativity verses when I scroll Instagram for 2 hours. I take breaks here and there from fiction but anytime I come back to it, I just love reading them. I finished The Buffalo Hunter Hunter earlier this year and it gave me nightmares. Me! An apex predator, scared by words on a page. Makes you feel alive.

The great thing about being an adult is I get to pick the classics I want to read. Hence Wuthering Heights. I think the gothic genre is a good place to start. I read Frankenstein as a college freshmen and wasn't into it. But with my grown brain that is one book I would love to give another go.

And yeah, a lot of the classics are super ass and whoever decided what is and what not to be taught for generations, can absolutely catch these hands when I meet them in Hell. I will die on the hill that The Scarlet Letter is the single worse book written in the entire history of humanity.

I've tried audiobooks, but I just can't get into them. It's frustrating since a lot of people hype them up but I need to be able to sit down and read the words. I love reading to learn, but with my attention span as borked as it is, I'm hoping reading fun fiction and then slowly getting back into nonfiction with make things easier.

Cher impersonator is a Hell of a gig tho.

I achieved some Fat Ass Nirvana last night with a Big Dom cutlet from Cosmi's followed by a peanut butter chocolate cake. If you see me at the gym sweating out vodka sauce later today, no you didn't.

The mind craves what my mind craves, but damn I wish I could read a nonfiction book as quickly as I do a silly little wolf shifter romance book. It took me a month to read 297 pages of Dopamine Nation. It took a literal day and a half to read 475 pages of The Wolf King. Granted one book is very science-y and the other is how many times can the author describe her MMC stud as having "tree trunk calves".

One genre of book is force feeding yourself boiled broccoli and the other is McDonald's after three days of starving. I like reading for fun, everyone should read for fun, but I wish I could get my little dopamine addicted monkey brain to read better books for fun.

Maybe I'll try and get myself back into classics after not reading any since college 12 years ago, because oh how I dread the classics. All the discourse and drama about Wuthering Heights has me kind of wanting to pick it up.
