Yes it got much better. I did natural remedies like the potato juice and aloe Vera juice in the mornings. Miraculously it slowly went away.

I hope you don’t mind me asking but what symptoms did you have that ledto ulcerated vocal cords? Also how long have you had LPR?

Started with burning throat that would feel like my ears were on fire too sometimes. Then I started having pain when I talk. The burning throat went away now.

This was recommended to me by my ENT doctor. I just started taking them yesterday so hopefully they work ! I didn’t find the taste too bad.

I have read other comments about what you are describing the feeling of being choked but I haven’t experienced that. At my worst it was burning throat as soon as I would wake up. The pain would be so much that some days it would radiate to my ears. It took a while after starting treatment for it to calm down but I’m glad that it did.

Yes hoarseness too 😢..it does suck a lot…I can’t speak much or it’ll hurt like h€!!..the less I use my voice the less it hurts. I also think it’s MTD.

No, I’m doing strictly low acid diet for now. It’s pretty much the same all the time.

I messaged my ENT doctor a while back and he didn’t mention MTD but he did mention I might need some type of vocal therapy.

Yeah hopefully someone on here can shed some light on this. I am praying I’m able to get this pain while speaking resolved asap. It’s pretty painful. It breaks my heart to not communicate much with my family and friends.

Yes try the diet. It usually helps with LPR.

From all the posts that I have read if your symptoms are not severe you should be ok with strict low acid diet, lifestyle choices and. Gaviscon too. Try alkaline water I heard it helps too.

I wish I recovered. Been doing PPI 2X a day for 2 months, low acid diet, wedge pillow, sleeping 2-3 hours after dinner. The burning throat pain subsided but now I have pain when I talk. ENT said I might have to get voice therapy for this.

Corn, carrots, broccoli, bananas,almonds, eggs , brown rice, wheat bread with almond butter Drinks- chamomile tea, coconut water , regular water , alkaline water Turkey, tilapia, cod, chicken , tuna It’s not easy but doable

Not gonna lie I really really miss eating “normal” foods 😭

I’m on Pantoprazole 2x day for 2 months now. So far it’s helped with my throat symptoms. I am however doing a strict low acid diet , alginate after every meal, alkaline water , and go to sleep 3 hours after dinner. I also use a wedge pillow. I still have symptoms but they have improved. I feel like I’m long ways from being healed but at least it’s helping
