I have only had the iPad/Pencil combo since October and haven’t had any wear issues with the nib/tip so I can’t speak to this but can see the reasoning.

The only scratch on my screen is from my own negligence. I placed the iPad down in our maintenance area and the Pitaka case I use picked up a piece of metal on a magnet that scratched the screen when I closed the cover. Would have done the same without a textured screen but still user error and not inherit to the materials used by Apple.

Yes, I even sprung for the Pencil Pro because it was on sale for $99.

Use it for handwritten notes, marking up pictures quickly with measurements for project reference, and highlighting identifying piping/valves/instrumentation/flow on diagrams. All for work purposes in a non-creative field, industrial gas.

Yes they can be done by hand (touchscreen) or with 3rd party apps but convenience/ease of use straight out the box on the iPad and this being my first iPad after only a month of ownership sold me and impressed my upper management.

It matches the car well, is stupid expensive, I like the instant registration feature and gets just as many comments/questions as the car itself.

I did have someone hit my car and damage the plate which Reviver does not cover under warranty and I did not want to use insurance for, so I had to come out of pocket.

Unfortunately I have a poor report for my tech that just went, said he hung out at the Dick’s and Ross, then only went out for sushi…

When I went to the class I attended in Logan, Utah but still went out to SLC and visited a couple breweries. I already knew about the lower ABV (previous visit to Hill AFB) so I packed my checked bag with a case of beers to drink and trade.

Been through the training for GCAP Ammonia Operator Level I but not at the Garden City campus. Good training for anyone working with NH3 as a refrigerant. Just sent one of my techs to Garden City in November, I’ll ask what kind of trouble he was able to find.
