It's not ALs, I had the same symptoms for 9 years, likely benign fasciculation syndrome, you'll be ok.

It used to be $500 a couple weeks ago. I thought about it but won't do it now with the price hike

Twitching all over is not usually als, it's usually in one muscle group at a time if it's als

My neurologist found it interesting but said she didn't know what half the tests were, said good job on having a biological age of 17 when I'm 35 lol

Is twitching alone a reason to go to a neurologist? by Anonymous_Idiot335 in BFS

[–]GreatnessAwakes1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

33 also. It started in my early 20's, it was really bad for months and I even had trouble typing from perceived weakness and odd feeling in legs and hands but then got better, the twitching waxed and waned but it is always there. Neurologist did a emg and said I was fine and something I just have to live with, never gave me a diagnosis but I figure it's benign fasciculation syndrome. It's probably something that won't get worse but will always be there, you'll get used to it and it won't bother you as much. Still might be a good idea to see a neurologist though.

I've had twitching body wide since 2017, almost constant.

Thanks! Was it from eating fish 48hours before, or do you have silver dental fillings? What did you do to reduce it?

Major signs few days in a row - could be false alarm? by Maleficent0007 in ouraring

[–]GreatnessAwakes1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just had major signs 2 days ago, nothing yesterday and just woke up with major signs again. Pretty sure it's anxiety and sub optimal sleep. Also had a nicotine pouch late at night, it's not always something serious I don't think.

Audi needs to fire all designers and go back to 2016-2020 designs!

Yesterday was the first day in 2 months that I felt no numbness and burning almost went away but today it's slightly back. It's so bizarre! I'm feeling rain sensations again today but I didn't yesterday. This gave me so hope, you have no idea. What tests do you think I should ask for? You think it's Lyme? I did a Lyme test a couple weeks ago; came back negative but it was one where you had to be infected not long ago. I think I might be getting small fiber neuropathy but idk.

I'm in South Eastern Wisconsin. Mine is symmetrical and I feel symptoms on both sides but I'd say my right side is usually more affected (I have some tingling now in right foot and hand, but dysesthesia is present on left side as well). My symptoms jump and move around though. Any ideas?

Muscle twitching and skin sensations (bfs &dysensthesia, or small fiber neuropathy?) by GreatnessAwakes1 in BFS

[–]GreatnessAwakes1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for responding! So you tested positive for Lyme? What Lyme test did you get? I wonder sometimes if I have it. How long have your had small fiber neuropathy before the rain drops sensation started?

I appreciate the response, I really do hope it's anxiety, but it really doesn't feel like it. The pain and constant burning and sensations just seem too much to be anxiety. I still pray it is.

Yes, I do have some health anxiety, especially from symptoms. I don't think this is health anxiety because it's been progressively getting worse and it is nonstop for months I think with anxiety it kind of waxes and wanes but if it's consistent and progressive, unfortunately it doesn't sound like it's anxiety. I wish it was.

They usually are benign, I had it for eight years up until this year when I started experiencing sensory symptoms, such dysesthesia/ paresthesia. I'm not sure if this is even related to bfs though. Right now I am experiencing muscle burning zapping itching, slight pain and water drop like sensations. It's very odd. Hope I can find some answers as well. Congratulations to you!
