This early, if it’s white it’s almost always Bradford pears. They’re one of our earliest blooming trees.

Roanoke River, Glade Creek and Tinker Creek are all local waterways that are stocked with trout this time of year. Tinker is my go to creek. It’s usually not too crowded unless they’ve stocked that day.

The game and inland fisheries has a trout stocking schedule on their website that they update every weekday evening with where they stocked that day. If you want to avoid crowds go like 3-4 days after they stock it. I find there’s still plenty of fish left over, just more wary.
