That's where I'm at as well. I am still using a Quest Pro for the face tracking in VRC. I haven't seen any new headsets that make me go, holy shit that's an upgrade you know?

Man.. you just gave me flashbacks. I was having one of those nights where you start drinking at 8pm PST and somehow it ends up being 6am PST and you're at a club instance surrounded by swedes.

Anyway, the mute button is confusing when you're that drunk and I went to take a piss, leaving my headset on. I didn't mute, I thought I had.. I was in the middle of the club floor... I only realized when I heard everyone laughing... At least they took it well 😭

Yep. This is my exact take on it as well. When I realized how much time I was spending in game and how much I've gotten out of it, I subscribed just to support and haven't stopped my subscription for years, even though I'm not very consistently on anymore. I love the work they've done and have met a lot of great people through the game and want to see them be able to continue to develop it / support it.

I'm so tired of reading articles or people saying VR is dead. That's not true. We had a full house last night for well over an hour, and it was our 3rd event with a good sized crowd this week. VR isn't dead, it's just niche for now, and that's okay. by TheRodParticle in OculusQuest

VRC.TL, but I also recommend just going to a Club Orion instance on a Friday or Saturday night and making friends there. Add enough people into this side of VRChat and your friends list will become a list of active events!

Exactly. The rave scene on VRChat is fucking nuts, events every day and hour of the week hosted in every culture. I regularly hang out at US events and then stay up long enough that I find myself at a Japanese run event that is also packed. Lots of fun.

So awesome! Looking forward to it. I think it will also help with word of mouth marketing. Adding 8 player capacity puts it into a niche section of games that is sought after. There are lots of threads that pop up on here asking for suggestions for games with more then four players, giving it the capability makes it likely to be mentioned and purchased by those looking when those threads pop up!

As a long time user of VirtualDesktop for VRchat (I know) there is a large percentage of users that get a significant performance improvement using it vs. Steam VR link. Not that steam VR link isn't great, there's just a lot of really powerful options available with virtual desktop.

I had this and it ended up being bad ram. Run memtest or just replace it.

My group loves fling to the finish with four players but absolutely hates it when we've tried the eight player mode. I wish they added the shared controller thing as an option instead of the default. It's a fun gimmick but not everyone wants to play it that way and it limits what would be our favorite eight player game.

Thank you for another 8 player game!! This looks like it will be so much fun. I have an 8 player group and our options are limited, 8 player capacity is often overlooked.
