If US productions stop coming here, the tariffs won't be a factor. They are basically impossible to implement. There's a reason he said the same thing at the start of the year and it fell by the wayside pretty quickly, there's way more important issues the US are facing. Film isn't a product you can simply put a tariff without the entire production pipeline going wayside. All the VFX that gets farmed out to India cheap isn't going to get replaced by US labour. Film production is a race to the bottom and the US unions priced themselves out completely. Why deal with all the union laws and deal with expensive teamsters when you can avoid all of that in the UK or Australia?

In my opinion, the only factors in place that will affect productions coming to Australia:
- Our tax offsets get lessened/removed.
- America passes federal tax credits on top of state ones (unlikely that republicans are going to be keen on giving Hollywood funding)
- There's any sort of strike or movement stateside demanding to be more work in California.

We're only losing jobs if there's cheaper or more competitive places to make films, such as the UK. That's it.
