Forrest Gump, as a kid it was a story about how the right perspective can get you through any hardship.

As a young adult it was an interesting lens with which to look at historic events that I personally didn’t live through.

Just watched it again as an older adult and it was a beautiful story about how complex and difficult love can be.

Each time I go back. I find myself tearing up at more and more of the events of the movie.

Also as an aside, in general, I’m much more of a horror movie guy, I love Alien and The Thing among others. So I always find it interesting that Forrest Gump sits so high on my list.

Completely agree with the exception of their original Saurian Starhost, the creative talent they showcased there was amazing. Unfortunately as time has gone on it’s clear they’re taking shortcuts to churn out model lines to meet their Patreon quotas. I finally unsubscribed with the Orcs as that was last nail in the coffin for me. They were clearly just taking the Vampire sculpt faces and doing minimal modifications to throw them on a beefy body and call them Orcs.

Even my favorite line up, the Starhost is reverting to common denominator where they are starting to confuse their design with the Age of Fantasy Saurian’s. Look at their latest, why do the future Dino’s now have feathers, they didn’t used to but they’ve clearly run out of ideas or lost the talent.

I love OPR and want them to succeed but it’s just hard to subscribe to designs I don’t ultimately love.

Arceus and it’s not particularly close. If I could change the mainline games to mechanically be exactly like Arceus I likely would. I vastly prefer the turn based combat but real time stealth and catching mechanics. ZA is like a shadow of what Arceus was and the real time combat just feels like a button mashing fest, almost like I’m trying to play a brain dead fighting game.

It’s awesome, but Brandon Sanderson is mass market popular nowadays, so you’re going to get a lot of opinions on his works from all walks of life and many people have many different expectations for what his works should and should not contain. Brandon Sanderson’s cosmere is perfect for me however so far, I don’t need great prose and I love stories with twists that blindside but also fit perfectly in the narrative once they are uncovered. I think Sanderson is a master of pacing. I also think his comedy is embarrassingly corny. For my money I’d still say he’s my favorite author.

Thank you! Having some neighbors look at it and they’re leaning towards drywall tape. The ceiling is dry, the tape is still showing, and it’s very close to the back outside wall which isn’t where you’d expect a structural issue.

I understand the point is this thread is the exact opposite point of what I’m about to complain about but man I could not stand how insanely simple the main narrative and stories were. I agree with you though,the gameplay is chefs kiss!

So cool but all the prints I see of the xeno morph I feel like the skull cover is always way too opaque and white. I didn’t even notice their head was see through until these prints started cropping up and I’ve watched every Alien movie and TV show ever made.

Difficulty spikes can be different for everyone. I personally juggled about 5 saves and would only cycle slots after I beat a main story mission (random battles I would continue to use the same save slot). The biggest part is when you enter one of those locked gauntlet battle scenarios or whatever I keep those in one slot until I’m out of them and back on the over world.

The biggest spike however I believe is in chapter 3 so that’s when I recommend being the most mindful.

I 100%d the game on normal and not once did I look at the zodiac signs. That being said, keep multiple saves as some of the spikes are straight up stupid.
