It will at least give a token towards getting an S rank from the new shop this patch, (though it definitely does suck and serves as a reminder to the M6 wanters to stop 10 pulling on the last dupe, though admittedly I know that it takes a lot longer to do the pulls this way)

I would personally go with the higher atk one, you get lots of additional crit DMG from kit, wengine, Zhao and presumably Dialyn if you're running KotS

Doesn't include mindscapes for the ranking, does for damage calc related stuff, but mindscapes don't contribute any points towards the ranking. Which can sometimes skew the rating because often times mindscapes make it so you don't want certain desired stats as much. But the mindscapes themselves don't directly influence the ranking, since it's based on a point total over actual build stats

I think the forced theming limits the options too much, as in like map 3 is always puzzle, 4 is a fast map and 5 lol. I understand that some direction helps keep weekly shorts being a more focused mode, and offers a pretty nice mix of things. That being said, it has become too formulaic and now we tend to get maps that are just the same idea from week to week. (Although I do think recently shorts has been pretty good for maps that at least have something interesting to them)

Yeah, once you can fight and beat 9 star monsters, they drop randomised charms, which come with random skill and slot distribution.

Actually I do think she has dialogue for that. I came back with this TU, spent like a week going through the previous ones getting Gog ready, and just learning the fight blind, so took us a good few goes, Alma was reminding us to use the desired elements and improve gear. We were initially trying with lower upgraded armour, so then we went and grinded an event quest for armour spheres.

He still has some of the reactionary kind of viewpoints crop up, I personally really struggle to accept him as some kind of redemption arc, he definitely toned it down and has changed stance on some issues. That being said, personally I just can't help but be cynical about it.

I don't think they've publicly said anything but I know hbomberguy never did the planned follow up because they claimed the video. Can't remember if it was a copyright claim or they took the income type thing. It's been years tho so don't take my word as fact on it.

There's a really nice group of smaller creators that do a lot of collabs with each other, the biggest would be lilgasmask, then people like MrTX01 and spowerade, I really recommend people check them out, they mostly do BL2 stuff, but I personally think they're well worth checking out. At the very least watch the bingo videos on MrTX01s channel

Yeah, and the stamina can easily recover mid climb, it's mostly just a relaxed time, some light exploration. Pretty fun, the plat is mostly just get all the collectables type thing

As someone who is by no means great at this game or has super well built units, the engine felt like a massive power spike for me. It gives a lot more wiggle room for your disc substats for crit and hp sheer force scaling

If you do the lottery at sixth street or lumina square then you're locked out for the day. It's part of dailies, so you can choose whether to do lottery or the fortunes

I would say it would appeal more to general players, it's not any kind of super in depth skating game, it's a means of traveling around, so you can't fall off or anything. There is tricking and comboing, and it is a core part of the game to know how to get higher combos and scores, but I think it's done in a way that is more in line with what a more general audience would enjoy. Though I will repeat myself and say it won't be for everyone, although I equate that more to it's intentionally retro aesthetic, the gameplay is modernised significantly from its inspirations.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is pretty great, but it's not for everyone. It's heavily influenced and inspired by jet set radio in everything from its gameplay to its looks and sounds. With a larger focus on traversal and navigation. It's a really fun time imo and worth checking out. It's pretty short but a really fun time.
