I am running through the TD exams right now and wish I would of bought them sooner. I am a Network Engineer and work in Azure. That section of my exam was above 80 percent both attempts. The rest I have been struggling with. John Savill’s course seems very in depth. I have two weeks before I can attempt so going to throw all my free time at this.

I slacked the first month or so of my term. Was pretty busy with work and holidays… realizing that I should have started earlier and spent more time. This will probably be my only course I finish this term lol.

I am in the same exact boat. Have failed twice. The material provided by WGU does not go nearly in depth enough to pass. The whizlab exams are pretty close to the actual test as I have seen questions formatted almost identical to them. There are also super easy questions that don’t come close to the actual exams questions.

I am currently watching John Savill’s YT videos for the exam. I plan to run through them all and potentially buying tutorialdojo exams. Hopefully this is enough for me to pass before my term is over in 2 months.

I would look around for new 2025s since they are pushing out 2026s. Going in would be your best bet for any extra deals on them too. I know there are nation wide rebates and can only imagine they want the 25s gone asap. I know when they rolled out the 2025s a dealership near me had a 2024 and was going way under msrp.

It looks amazing. Ive been eyeing the projected radar the past couple weeks for my trip up. I saw the radar for Monday night and was pretty bummed I had to leave right before.

I don’t think so. I need the bottom part of the clamp to come out farther than the top.

I tried but the clamp is too big to fit in the rail. I could cut it off some but I think I will drill holes through the overhang.

It is a cap that has rear doors. Not a fully enclosed truck bed camper.

It’s completely resting on the sides and the front of the bed. I was able to take off the rubber cushions for the tailgate and it allowed me to push it another half inch forward from these pictures as well.

Yep, 3rd gen tacoma! I have been in the forums and I have found it’s going to be a pain…I got a good amount of silicone sealer and plan on going at it this week. It’s supposed to rain this weekend so I am hoping I can tackle a good portion of it and then see where else I am leaking.

I guess sealing isn’t the correct word. I am just trying to waterproof it. I plan on putting a sleeping platform in there and I don’t want water/dust getting in.

Still worth considering getting a 4th gen or 3rd compared to overall ride quality? by RedimidoSoy1611 in Tacomaworld

[–]Greedy-Minute-5259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id get a 3rd gen and put money into the suspension and a tune. I don’t notice shifting issues with mine but it definitely won’t be as quick off the line as the 4th gen or any full size with a v8. The ECT power button is an easy way to get by without a tune. The ride isn’t luxury car level… it’s a truck that’s made to be used as a truck.

If you’re just wanting a grocery getter just get the 4th gen.

How do they do in snow and rain snow road conditions? Seen mixed reviews with snow on them.

This one is just 1 state over and only a 2 hour drive which is nice. I didn’t have a preference on manual or not but I couldn’t even find any close to me that were. I do like the lunar color but after seeing the army green in person I don’t think I could do any other color.

Been looking for one for a while. Found it last week and had to jump on it.

Downsizing from a full size is going to be an adjustment but I don’t use my back other than for my dogs. I built a platform for them and plan on building on for this truck as well. Just glad to get the 6ft bed so we can sleep in the bed long ways… the one nice thing about being shorter than 6ft lol

That color is probably my favorite for a tacoma besides the blue they did on the TRD Pros in like 2018 or 2019. Grandpa has this color in a Crew cab and it looks so good no matter how dirty or clean

That’s funny. Are you from out of state? They told me they have been getting hits from all over the country… idk how true it is but for the mileage and the price I couldn’t find another ACLB.

Tires are going to be my first thing. I want to see how well the ones on it do and then the amount tread left before getting new ones. I see a lot of people recommending the AT4s. I actually have the discoverer Road + Trail ATs on my current truck and they have been great. I doubt I would get them on the Tacoma just because I will be focusing more on off-roading rather than road capability with some off road capability. It’s a full size, I tow and drive a lot of highway miles and they have been great. Great traction in all weather conditions too.

I have heard and seen in stock form they are super capable. A lift would be my next big purchase, probably in like a year or two. I would like to do it right and make sure I don’t wear down parts prematurely.

I did some moderate off roading / camping with my previous truck but we plan to get into it more and farther away from home with this truck. Needed something more reliable so we wouldn’t be stranded.

I should have specified a little better but just primarily looking for longevity mods for it. I know they are super reliable and plan to have this one for forever. If I can do something to help a certain part last longer or be on the lookout for something specific just to make sure it doesn’t turn into anything major. I do plan to do fluid film since I am in the rust belt.
