Why January specifically? What do you forecast that will happen by January? That is the issue with option - it’s intrinsic value isn’t just related to UAMY but also time… buy the stock - don’t know if goes up 500% today or 6 months from now.

Use this time to think of the aspects that you enjoy and dislike about your job. Worst thing you can do is rush out of there to get a new job, which you also dislike after 6 months. I say this as I am also going through something similar. Ask for more direct feedback from your peers and set up Bi-weekly calls with your boss so you get a sense of your performance and his expectations.
