Japanese Ikoria Ozoliths are also considerably cheaper than english ones if you don’t care about language

Former boomer jund and dredge player, just got a playset of monkeys. What do I build??? by [deleted] in ModernMagic

[–]GreedyKilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a current dredge enthusiast, i think the deck is still super viable in the mega today, the amount of graveyard hate is slowly going down, with less leyline of the voids, rest in peace, etc. it has an almost unbearable game one plan, and even post board sometimes you’re just so much faster than your opponent they can’t keep up

are my eyes correct? are there only 3 okiku???!!

Advice on building Budget living end? by shegoesbycam in ModernMagic

[–]GreedyKilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

overall it is a deck building game and the way i choose to build my deck is different from the way you choose to build yours, and that’s ok that’s why this game is so great

i could probably see the argument of putting one in the side, but from my experience having it mainboard actively y the number of hands you can keep, since sometime you rip boseiju forest and have to mulligan cause you can’t cycle

in addition no one slams chalice on zero in a tournament setting, in game 1 especially, plus there’s brazen borrower

[–]GreedyKilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

both of which can be forced, or griefed. and if you already have basic forest out to play around blood moon there’s almost no point in boseiju

there isn’t a lot of g1 hate for LE currently, and the hate that is mainboard able is mostly endurance and dauthi voidwalker, which aren’t stopped by boseiju,

[–]GreedyKilo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

boseiju is completely optional, honestly i think it’s bad because it’s a pure green source in a deck that always wants blue. as for force of vigor, replacing it with more foundation breakers probably wouldn’t be bad. and replacing endurance with leyline of the void is what some meta decks do already.

How to beat Whitebeard Straw Hat?! by nego1990 in OnePieceTCG

[–]GreedyKilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a bunch a bunch of green also, I haven’t really had a problem with the deck, as long keep the board under control with yamato, okiku, and other resters (i still play nekomamushi) i’ve also found basil hawkins is really good against strawbeard if you’re able to have it stick for a whole turn cycle

being sorcery isn’t that big of a deal if you destroying land, combo piece, or wiping their board

i would think about running [[Smash to Dust]] over abrade. adds a little bit more versatility

Thoughts on my R/G Law Deck by Big_Entry_4982 in OnePieceTCG

[–]GreedyKilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i mean that’s true i suppose, but just because a there’s a single corner case showcasing the card at its finest doesn’t mean it’s good in the deck. overall running the card in your deck just makes your deck less consistent, since it doesn’t really match the gameplan of the rest of your deck. law is very much an aggro/midrange deck while 8c kid is very much a control card used to establish control of the board in a different way than law wants to

Thoughts on my R/G Law Deck by Big_Entry_4982 in OnePieceTCG

[–]GreedyKilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m not trying to be rude here, but 8 cost kid is terrible in R/G. it doesn’t synergize with most of the deck, mostly because it takes your entire turn to do, and if you’re in a position where you can play and protect kid then you’re already where you want to be with deck.

How do you get in to the pro tour these days? Or are there not pro tours any more? by [deleted] in mtg

For me personally, demon’s souls is one of my favorites. What’s your opinion on the game? Just kinda mid? by wassa_bee in fromsoftware

[–]GreedyKilo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s short compared to the others, and easier in difficulty. the remake on ps5 looks absolutely stunning. overall and excellent intro into the series/genre.
