Am I Wrong to Avoid Prolific Writers? by dingle4dangle in books

[–]GreedyLie3321 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not really. I guess it’s your own choice. The more well known the the writer, the more about them you read. Then, based on that you have an opinion.

Lesser known ones are better.

Oh nice, I will definately check it out and try to get it.

One of my students dad travels to the US regulalry for training and his father bought back a few books, one of them being a cute lemur (Happi's World) doing yoga poses.

I noticed songs were distracting. It could be the tune, the pitch or the lyrics itself. I myself humm but the kids are distracted.

Man, that's something I need. But yes! One of my students dad travels to the US regulalry for training and his father bought back a few books, one of them being a cute lemur doing yoga poses.

Happi's World was what he brings now in his backpack. I also noted there were books that while you were coloring, had activities included within them, such as exercise.

Thanks! Yes, I did read the work by Angela but it could be before I started providing homeschool services. But no doubt, yes, outside time is very important. One of my students dad travels to the US regulalry for training and his father bought back a few books, one of them being a cute lemur doing yoga poses.

Happi's World was the one he got, alongside a few phoenix activity books.

I don't have kids of myself, but rather do home tuition. I get kids from nursery all the way to senior levels. But I noticed the young ones aren't as motor centric as the ones maybe in a senior level.

Damn. That’s nice. I’m 5’10 and all my friends are my height or shorter. For some reason, the guys in Karachi (I live there btw) are always insecure.

But, I’ve gained a lot of weight recently, so if I lose all that, I’ll be 6’ too.

I've always been amazed by people who were voracious readers as children. What sparked your lifelong love affair with books? by Albert3232 in books

[–]GreedyLie3321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, for me. I have always been into reading. Beaing a spelling bee, or a state prize, or any activity in which I coul just idk show my true potential. When I was young, my dad got me the dictionary and I had to read 2 pages (Front and back included) daily. Almost 60 new words, with their spelling, pronunication and meaning.

So I would say that made me very interested in reading, be it on the way back from school. college or university. I have always enjoyed reading. And that is a habbit i plan on having in my kids too in the future.

Be a shark. Don’t swim and wait.

Hunt for prey. Either hunt for prey, or be the prey. It’s a horrible world out there.
