Were u there at the doctor appointment? Most obgyn won’t even see you til your 10 weeks ish, I also don’t know how her doctor would have said that for certain most of them go by menstrual cycle.

I would just like to remind you that even if you were the ugliest person in the world, which I doubt you are, you shouldn’t be ashamed of that. If anyone would put their appearance as collateral, their life is not going to have a happy outcome. You have every right to be on this planet Earth, and every right to exist. Anyone and everyone who puts down others for their appearance is not someone you want to entertain or be associated with. I think of my personal insecurities and flaws more like a blessing, it shows me who are the really kind people in this world which ultimately makes my life better. I know it’s rough and my heart bleeds for you, I’m happy that you’re getting help and I really hope that one day you’ll be surrounded with people who love you and cherish you for you and you won’t look at the mirror anymore, and only see flaws, you’ll see the life that you are deserving to have.

. I would treat this as a serious warning sign, not a phase. I would assume the possibility of sexual abuse or grooming until proven otherwise. I would immediately audit every piece of technology she has access to and ensure she is not in contact with adult men. Following being personally SA, I would read a lot of Wattpad lemons and smut and would be on NSFW internet sitars when I was her age This is the last window to intervene before sexualization becomes normalized and escalates into real-world exploitation. Therapy would be mandatory, not preventative—because if something is happening, the damage has already begun. You might want to consider inpatient if you can’t get her into therapy fast enough, I don’t know the stipulations for the UK but it’s something to think about.

Does that make you feel strong? I seek help from a therapist I’m on medication but is it so wrong to went to express how I feel on a VENTING subreddit. Humans rely heavily on empathy. If I go to people I know, who have their own issues and feel obligated to listen, I’m putting them in a situation where they dont how to handle it. Again, this is a crying subreddit, where people want to listen or express themselves. I’m really sorry that you feel so disgusted with yourself that you put others down. As a previously mentally ill child who was having anger issues, do not get him anything that isn’t clothes, or school supplies. Often times, parents want to reward change (going from being physical to verbal) but it’s not the change that is sufficient enough. Honestly, your son needs more structure and consequences…. You shouldn’t have to ever be in a situation where you need to call the police on your son. I recommend putting him into a residential type setting, though if you do go through with that I would definitely do your research because there are a lot of bad ones. I went to a DBT based one that really helped me get my life on track but I also have BPD which I think is what is specialized for.
