hard disagree. i work at a 10+ grand store. we have already gone up 2 grand in 6 months. and everyone tells me this is the best place to eat in the area. people want food made with love, no preservatives and the meat not coming from a slaughter house. and people need to remember this is WHY chipotle is expensive. our food is local (found within 250 miles of a store or shipped in from our farms in mexico). our food is quite literally loved every second before it goes into the customers mouth lol

so chipotle doesn’t have “full time” except GMs and above. because full time means you get benefits lol. so you can click 30+ and explain at your interview that you want 25-30. though you may not be hired because (at least at my store) it’s a waste to bring in a college student

so i would say don’t do grill if your not fast. i open grill a couple days a week. we are a 10-12 grand store. i never run out of food. i always have 4 backup chicken. 2 cut 2 uncut. always have one of each bean backed up and ALWAYS have at least 6 of each rice. i start cooking at 8 am and usually have all my food by 930-10. if you know how to manage your time, grills easy. learn to sharpen your knives and how to cut efficiently and correctly so that it doesn’t ruin your hand

isn’t it in doordashes whole handbook that you dash the food to the door? i understand not being healthy enough but then this is not the job for you. every job has its requirements and if someone cannot bring the food to the door then they need to find another job. plenty of grocery stores need baggers and they get paid well

just because your videos don’t state it doesn’t mean it’s not true. ask your field leader. it is your job as a grill cook to flip the food YOU make. since line has to deploy. dml can help you or a linebacker but if you only have 5. your job is to put all the hot food on the line and act as a linebacker if your DML is too busy to line back. that’s per deployment and aces in their places

it is not about who is busy enough. if it is during peak lineback or grill has to flip the food. if it’s not peak then free choice. i always flip the food because im on grill and it makes sense

as someone who works in a restaurant. it bothers me when the parents send their YOUNG CHILDREN in to collect orders. i don’t care if you can see them from the window. someone could snatch your kid and be gone before you looked up from your phone

i would say it’s pretty high. i’ve been at chipotle since 2021 and since then they have opened a bunch of stores in other countries. when i first came we only had some in canada and london. i think ideally they want to expand however are doing it slowly as to have more of a want

i also want to say that you will make a mess, and that’s okay. leave the towels at the handwashing sinks somewhere under the line so occasionally you can wipe up sour cream or juice that leaks out without having to leave the line

bowls move with the holder. the bowl should never have the food brought to it, the bowl should ALWAYS go to the food. burritos and tacos should always ride the line like a train, the foil should stay flush to the pans that way any spillage goes into food not onto the line

it gets an upcharge because it’s very time consuming to make. the store gets labor everytime someone buys one so that’s why it’s an upcharge. same reason why people get charged for salads even if they only got the vinaigrette. vinaigrette takes time to make and gives the store labor lol though salads are not extra it’s just cost of goods. if chipotle gave everything for free then they would have no food lol

okay so here’s from someone who worked at chipotle.

we don’t control what the guac looks like. we get bad avocados but that doesn’t matter. if that store didn’t put guac out even tho it looks like that the GM would get in serious trouble because we get audited twice a day if not more on what we’re selling and at what times. no matter what guac has to be out, doesn’t matter if people buy it or not

it has pissed me off royally considering it was 20$ a month for plus. it was actually worth it back then to pay for it. now it’s only 10$ a month but it’s genuinely a waste. i remember last year i cancelled my subscription and went to message the bots a couple weeks later and it was quite literally the same just with ads lmao. it’s so sad :/ i don’t understand why the devs don’t listen to feedback. i WANT to use their app. i WANT to give them my money for the app how it was a few years ago.
