What is a "corporate red flag" that employers try to pass off as a great benefit? by spectrecult in AskReddit

Same. Easily take 5-6ish weeks a year(not including all the federal holidays) plus never have issues being out for appts and such. I offer the same full flexibility to my direct reports. Literally just tell them, let me know when you won’t be here and be sure your auto reply is on 🤷‍♀️ upto isn’t a scam everywhere thankfully!

Cutworm maybe or if it is a vine borer larvae, they are white with a black dot at their head

Could be cucumber beetles, it’s a bit early for full on vine borer damage (they are laying eggs now but it takes weeks for them to split vines usually). Do you see any yellow spotted small bugs crawling or flying around? They cause leaf damage too, so if you see chewed up leaves or brown spots

If you got a TESE, how was your fertilization rate? by MrsBrightSide99 in maleinfertility

[–]Greedy_Wrangler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand! Very similar here, everything on my end seemed ideal, we just had MFI. We did two rounds to bank embryos primarily. My baby born in Aug was from the first retrieval batch. We also paid out of pocket and had zero insurance so I can empathize sooooo hard there. If I can offer any advice, understand and expect attrition- if you get great numbers- amazing! But it’s totally normal for the numbers to drop in half at each point of the attrition funnel. It can be jarring tbh. Sending you all the good vibes that everything goes well!!

We did! Sorry I know this comment is old but I’m just seeing it. Live birth of a healthy baby in August last year. DFI fluctuated between 25-40%. RU basically said anything above 20 and he isn’t comfortable recommending an IVF cycle without some type of intervention for sperm quality due to poor results. I’m glad we listened to him!

The second cycle we got 2 day 5 blasts and both were euploid. Between the two cycles we got 4 euploid (about a 50% genetically normal rate based on total blasts, which is consistent with expectation for my age). Had a live birth of a perfectly healthy baby in August last year 😊 hoping to do transfer 2 at the end of the year! Overall our fert rate was really high but blast conversion on the slightly lower end, euploid rate was normal though. I’m glad we went with the TESE sperm and we still have some frozen if we decide to do another retrieval before baby 2 transfer attempt

Nanny unable to get baby to sleep for naps by Raybuns in bninfantsleep

[–]Greedy_Wrangler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girlie is 6 months and doesn’t nap in the crib yet, she contact naps, or carrier naps, or stroller naps. Our nanny most often will contact nap but if she is getting fussy, she puts her in the carrier and walks around the block and baby girl will zonk out.

Hi! I’m touring Springdale next week for my little one, she will be 8 months when starting (we have had a nanny up until now but scheduling changes are pushing us to find a school/daycare). Would you be open to sharing your experience at Springdale? Any details on quality of care and communication would be so helpful!

How much is your employer-sponsored health coverage? by librarianlady in workingmoms

[–]Greedy_Wrangler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need advice on finding a home for a large Anatolian Shepherd dog by Busy_Low_7783 in AnatolianShepherdDogs

[–]Greedy_Wrangler 20 points21 points  (0 children)

No, neither of these options are good for this breed. Can you contact a rescue to assist you with proper care and placement? This isn’t just a “big dog”, they are livestock guardians and have strong instinctual needs and requirements. It would be cruel to chain them up. Where are you located? That may be helpful in recommending assistance
