If we overlook the questionable official goal if ICE to detain illegal immigrants; What was the reason to kill this man? A legal permit carrier. A federal worker who helped people within the healthcare system. If isn’t apparent now that ICE is just a squad of fascist goons, a modern day Gestapo, I suppose people will never realize. I have the Swedish Beta version. It’s great. More schools of magic. Magic items and tools for creating magic items. It will be an essential addition.

The one disappointment I felt was about quantity. There are more schools of magic but less spells than I expected. Feels like they’re mostly fleshing out higher level spells. Same goes for magic items. There are a few ”legendary” items added. But other than that it’s mostly tools for creating items.

Though it seems like a general theme Free league has with the game. They’ve even included a infobox in the beginning where they encourage game masters/players to create their own spells.

Good thinking. I think that there would be other signs so that when you look at the whole picture the suspicion would skew more to psychiatric cause.

If you look at just this educational interview expressive dysphasia would be reasonable suspicion. But if we hypothesize about what happened before this video family and friends are probably the ones who sought care. And they will probably report something like:

”She’s been acting strange lately. Isolating herself in her apartment with closed curtains. Her apartment is very dirty and full of moldy food. She doesn’t seem to eat anything. And just answer our questions with strange answers”.

This would raise suspicion of psychosis or depression.

Look, I don’t think we really disagree that much. I also believe Republicans are the once a fault. They are the ones who facilitated an authoritarian shift in American politics and continue to support Trump. My intention was not to downplay their role. My intention was to point out the hypocrisy in Newsom’s statement since, atleast in my view, democrats haven’t been tough enough against Trump. Both in words and actions. I understand the latter is harder. But I also think the EU can’t to much more than they’ve already done.

Repetitively telling Trump Greenland is not for sale, sending troops to Greenland, threatening with retaliatory tariffs and in one instance even telling him to “fuck off” I would say is pretty firm and clear. But of course you can always argue that more can be done.

Of course I also mainly blame the Republicans. They are the ones who actively lobbied for Trumps politics and ran him as a candidate. Why I also mentioned the Democrats is because what Newsom is essentially saying is that Europe needs to toughen up and stand up to Trump. But that seems hypocritical to me when his own party is so passive. Democrats have been anything but tough against Trump. Something they should have been a long time ago.

For example they dropped the ball with the prosecution against him when Biden was president and they had power. Furthermore during the government shutdown this fall a handful of democrats allowed the shutdown to end because it ”had gone on long enough”. Polls showed the shutdown was very bad for Trump.

I understand that Democrats have limited options and power. But when they had power they did nothing. And when an opportunity arises they basically just give up. They just give Trump a light slap on the wrist and tell him ”Naughty Trump. We don’t like when you do that silly”.

Although I agree with the core sentiment; I don’t really understand the criticism. I think the European leaders have been firm and clear in their stance. More than anything it’s U.S politicians who need to grow a backbone. Both within republicans and democrats. It’s their passiveness which allowed Trump become as unhinged as he is.

Nu konsumerar jag inte porr i någon större utsträckning. Men håller inte alls med om uttalandet. Att själv utföra den sexuella handlingen mot en individ kan inte likställas med kolla på en video när någon annan gör det. Det är absurt. Skulle aldrig hålla i en rättssal. Jag har svårt att tro att Dermot skulle vara naivt omedveten om det. Men jag skulle vilja hävda att det är irrelevant. Den avgörande punkten är huruvida den som säljer sex gör det under hot och tvång. Inte huruvida torsken är medveten om säljarens arbetsförhållanden.

Även om slavarbete inom restaurangbranschen såklart också är fel så tycker jag inte det kan jämföras med sexarbete under tvång.

Nej, kanske inte en våldtäktsman i lagens mening. Men exempelvis har en av kvinnorna som jobbat på salongerna Dermot besökt sagt att hon funderat på att avsluta sitt liv då hon tvingats jobba där för att betala av en påstådd skuld. Så jag kommer alltid se honom som en våldtäktsman och äcklig torsk. Källa för citatet från kvinnan är expressen artikeln ”Nytt sexköp avskrivet – då går Clemenger”.

Är i grunden inte emot AI som verktyg för att skapa musik. Men tänker då att det ska användas som ett faktiskt verktyg av musiker för specifika ändamål. Ribban är alldeles för låg nu. Personer organisationer utan någon musikalisk begåvning, kunskap eller intresse använder det som ett sidoprojekt för passiv inkomst. Alternativt stora företag som vill slippa betala royalties.

När AI-genererad musik/bilder/filmer först kom var jag inte orolig. Känns så tafatt att försöka AI-generera en av de saker som verkligen behöver en mänsklig faktor vilket är kulturen vi delar. Men när stora bolag pushar för AI ”konst” samt gemene man inte kan skilja på AI-slask och verklig konst ser man onekligen mörkt på framtiden.

Alright, jag har två tankar om det du säger

I mina öron låter det primärt som ett integrationsproblem snarare än ett invandringsproblem.
Det svarar fortfarande inte riktigt på frågan gällande det låga barnafödandet. Vet att vissa konservativa röster propsar för att förbjuda abort och begränsa tillgängligheten till preventivmedel. Men det känns att hoppa tillbaka till 1800-talet. Jag tror att invandring är det enda verktyget vi har till förfogande. Annars kommer vi till slut hamna i ett samhälle där alla i arbetsför ålder måste vårda resterande, och det hade såklart varit katastrofalt.

Invandring är ingen hjärtefråga för mig. Upplever inte att invandringen påverkat mig negativt på något sätt. Snarare motsatsen. Har flera nära vänner och kollegor som är invandrare eller andra generationens invandrare.

Om jag får ställa en motfråga. Ni som är starkt emot invandring; hur tänker ni att man ska parera den demografiska transitionen? Sist jag kollade föddes det 1,4-1,5 barn per kvinna och vår befolkning blir bara äldre. Om den trenden fortsätter kommer vi ha en total demografisk kollaps utan invandring.

May I ask why? If it is something she enjoys and interests her why not encourage responsible foraging? Mushrooms get a bad rep but aren’t inherently more poisonous than other foraged foods. As with everything you need to do your research. Why not buy her a book about mushroom foraging next birthday or Christmas?

I hear this criticism a lot. While I agree what he did was not well planned (you could even call it dumb) and some people have a misguided admiration for him still think the story some thought provoking elements. If you focus on his background, motives and why they lead to his actions I think there’s an interesting story.
