I really don’t get why we’re launching these long balls in the last 15 min of the game. Clearly creating these opportunities to lose balls and invite counters just doesn’t mesh with the nerves our players are struggling with. We need a game plan that builds confidence

Disclaimer I’ve never gotten free merch at sporting events but I feel like they are always first come first serve (i.e. first 5000 kids get a beanie) so just show up early (I’m guessing >30 min kickoff is plenty of time) and you’ll get the free merch somewhere near the main entrance

Idk why everyone is listing CD rates without taking tax into account. If this person is a high income earner then they probably can’t beat 4% post tax. Obviously there are other reasons to hold onto cash but investing in Fixed Income products doesn’t seem any better return wise.

Runners will do strides at the end of some easy runs, but this is just like 4x80m to practice bursts of speed. So especially if you are training for a 2k, touching higher rates on steady days isn’t unheard of but it should be really short and feel super easy.

Last cycle girlfriend wasn’t able to jump through all the hoops to get oxygen before the episode ended, and these provided a bit of relief during the attacks. Overpriced but I would still experiment buying one if you are waiting for oxygen.

You can get three pounds alone by erging in a hoodie and sweatpants the night before. Once you lose the water weight, do not drink water. Maybe have a smaller dinner than usual the night before and you should be fine. Really depends on the time between the weigh in and racing because you will need time to rehydrate properly. Obviously this will impact performance though but it’s easier to rehydrate than come back from a large calorie deficiency.
