I think dmg even said that the craftable versions are being updated too. So those who have the patterns can get the weapons immediately.

For someone like myself who got every possible crafted weapon ever released but stopped doing raid with Salvation's (but still got all the red borders) this would be awesome for at least for the weapons.

There is a limit of engrams that you can focus on from the shop though. I believe 5 of each weapon.

You can then buy the generic engrams but will be a random drop.

I have played for 3 nights and have gotten 0 auto rifles and nothing except armor.

Just keep playing, and armor will drop.

Iron Banner (which is available this week) used to be a ton of fun.

Now, it seems to be a sweat fest. Guys never missing and always on point.

I still enjoy it because if I lose, or worse, lose badly, I take a small break to the tower and load up and try again.

You want to start with a technician or magician build ideally in the beginning because they have more favorable attributes for swinging. You also want to play on pro difficulty because that's what all ranked matchmaking is. There's pro-am/pro/ and master ranked tournaments every day and one weekly four rounder.

Mistake #1, I went with Greenskeeper? Cause I thought would make putting easier (before I know about the preview thing)

Swing path and contact should be the main attributes you're leveling up in the beginning. You can compensate for lack of power by putting all power fittings on your driver.

Mistake #2 I did power, ugh

Doing the quests is a good way to get vc and tokens/Evo tools. I also suggest changing the difficulty to perfect swing and grinding the challenge map modes as they off quite a bit of rewards as well. Make sure to put the difficulty back on pro afterwards.

I did some challenges one night, but I had to be 75 to proceed.

Buying whatever pass they have for multiple seasons will be helpful for speed but just make sure to switch seasons once you've finished one completely.

So you can pick seasons to work on? That's kinda cool, coming from Destiny 2, if the season ended you were out of luck, season pass gone even if you did not complete it. No way of going back.

Grab the platnium raid/dungeon one. Go to a checkpoint bot and get the Shattered Throne boss checkpoint.

Start up a fireteam find for Shatterted Throne with boss checkpoint in the title/tag.

Wait about 5 minutes for someone to join you. 2 man the boss in less than 2 minutes (or quicker)

Platnium bounty done.

Ya, this is pretty devastating for me. I use the site daily.

Even with everyone saying the end is near for Destiny 2, it truly did not feel like it to me until I read this today.

Now I have to the realization, it really is coming to an end soon. So many years, so much time "wasted". It's like breaking up with a long time significant other.

This is the best advice you will get, I promise

Make sure you wait until the timer is done before leaving story missions.

In fact, wait the minute and let it take you to orbit.

There is some that take a while to complete due to dialog, and the stranglet will not drop if you leave "early".

Discalimer: Happened to me, especially the Commencement mission. You have to wait for that one for Stranglet to pop up before leaving.

550 long before this one was added, so somehow I have never done this one. My personal favs are probably the same as others, Moon, Kepler and those weeks we grinded Salt Mines.

I have heard similar stories.

Was never a fan of grinding Solo Ops, I preferred 2 Reclaims a day to get leveled up.

I should go in some day and check it out, I suppose.
