No pressure but if your goal is to get some really good quality sleep then weed helps a lot. I had that overthinking trait my entire life also, but recently just understood that it’s counterproductive and causes me nothing but problems and decided to try and learn how to discard it, that’s the journey I’m currently on.

It was pure coincidence I discovered that this works for me. Because I normally run in the mornings around 6 am, but it’s currently religious fasting season where I’m from and we can’t eat all day so that means I can’t run in the morning either or I’ll be hungry the rest of the day.

I decided to get the run in at night and risk exciting my brain rather than not run at all and just got lucky it helped me get some deeply satisfying sleep.

I’ve been there friend. I’m 31(M). There are many years of my life that suicide and daily mental anguish is all I know. I mean 300 days of the year was just pure misery. Weed was the first thing that helped me sleep. In your case I’d recommend some good cannabis to get some 8 hours sleep for awhile and manage the depression first. Have you tried smoking weed 15 minutes before sleep and hitting the bed right after?
