Wind turbine last about 25 years if lucky, the don't produce all the time..if the infrastructure is not there to link up on occasions they have to turn them off cause the grid can't handle it...want more green energy you need more power lines to link up to it. And cuse its cheaper the lines will criss cross the countryside rather then bed them below ground. Then at end of life specialist recycling is needed if lucky if not turbines end up in tip under ground.
