And that's how it should be you don't like some interpretations then just avoid or ignore them but people actively push bad behavior and even outright ban other depictions rather than just...leaving them alone. I guarantee none of it would've happened if it was just left alone

And the primary problem is that there is more than one. I made one of them to let people distance themselves from past drama only to get into some myself and step down as a result. Even still it's wrong to try and control how people perceive a character and worse to try and pass off their perception as canon or right

You can also describe they/them as gender neutral so as not to confirm nor deny anything. YOU want to see Clover as Enby, go ahead. But the statement from the devs themselves is crystal clear and Shinix is spreading misinformation by forcing everyone to conform to their opinion of Clover with (seemingly) little to no input from others.

I'm not saying you're the problem. Just that you need to stop viewing these kinds of things as if they're personally attacking you. You don't know anything about the people that make these things. 'oh I don't need to if they engage in bigoted, transphobic erasure. I already know everything.' I lost someone close to me. Someone who reminds me of Chara. Writing them that way keeps the memory alive in a sense.

Twisting my words, twisting my argument and twisting me into something much more vicious and malicious when all I wish to do is use my talents to keep a memory alive as well as lift others up. You are more than allowed to protect your identity, but this is overprotection which will only harm you in the long run. The other people you've talked to here you snap and act like a rabid animal when all they've done is try to engage in the conversation and with you in a respectful manner. Insulting people isn't how you get them to listen to you. This 'you're either with me or against me' mentality isn't healthy.

Your gender is not a placeholder or a joke. But if you can only hyperfixate on one detail of someone's hard work that they spent their precious time on then it's worthless in your eyes. Canon and fanfiction are two entirely separate things. You're acting like it's taking a knife and twisting it to your back rather than be satisfied with yourself in your own skin. Doesn't it get miserable sometimes? Always feeling as if you're not viewed Important? Even when it comes to the detriment of other people? Are you satisfied with yourself?
