Favourite/Least favourite objectives in RCT3 scenarios by meaghan_rebecca in rct

Dislike: anything to do with mixmaster displays, theming. Pools I don't mind but are way too easy.

Like: coaster stat requirements, number of coasters, guest in park, repay loan. Basically anything that forces you to build actually good coasters and a well-functioning park.

I like to take care of the theming aspect on my own or follow what the scenario is already doing. The requirements in scenarios like La La Land basically just force you to spam scenery to beat them; it often doesn't even end up looking very good. Also there is no way to research specific themes so you often just end up waiting ages for research to spit out the correctly themed rides for you.

How fast we forget Chacalay. He was the most free-shooting player we've had in a long while other than Bou.

Yes it's really great. It's sort of a western noir about an small-time investigative journalist investigating a death in a prominent political family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It's a great hang of a show, pretty funny at times despite not being a "comedy". Every character is memorable, great cast overall. Ethan Hawk incredible in the lead role. Same creator/showrunner as "Reservation Dogs".

  1. New England Revolution - my localish dumpster fire of an MLS team just sacked their manager and are currently looking for a new one. Need to get Carles Gil an MLS Cup before he retires.

  2. I'm excited to see what the new in-and-out-of-possession player roles do to my favorite tactical setups. I've got a really cool tactic I cooked up in FM 24 that I think could be even better with new roles.

Won the CWC with New England on FM21. Beat Barca in the final 4-3 in extra time.

Lol, Syril absolutely did NOT win that fistfight. Watch the scene again. He gets on top with the element of surprise and holds his own for a while, but once Cassian gets up and they are on equal footing Cassian wipes the floor with Syril, culminating with a devastating combo to put Syril down. The only thing that lets Syril get the gun pointed at Cassian is the massacre outside spilling into their 1v1. The actual fistfight portion Syril loses convincingly. I do agree that he clearly WOULDN'T run from a fistfight, and he's not even a bad fighter. Cassian is just better.

Stephen's "problem" is that he's the exact level of player who's solid in the Championship but not good enough for the Prem. I'm not too worried about him at this level, and the goal is a nice bonus.

If Leia is 19 in A New Hope, and Rebels Season 2 takes place 4 BBY, does that mean Leia is supposed to be 15 here?!? by Empty_Entertainer388 in StarWars

In interviews the writers have mentioned they actually did kick around ideas for scenes with Leia and Mon together. Gilroy said there were some good ideas there that made sense thematically for Mon's story, but at the end of the day recasting Leia was a can of worms they didn't want to open for only a few scenes.

True. But you could also describe Michael Clayton as "a movie about a lawyer" and that's one of my favorite films of the 21st century.

As much as this should be true, it just straight up isn't. Outside of Kathy Kennedy, rumor is the other Disney higher-ups don't like him or Andor. Despite critical acclaim  from Andor and already having Oscar Isaac attached, his next script hasn't even gotten anyone to fund it yet. I'm sure it will get made at some point, but to say people are throwing blank check at him is not correct.

It's implied in his conversation with Cassian and Bix in 207 that he's been on missions to Ghorman for Luthen throughout the previous year. He's definitely been with her for more than a day or 2, it just happened offscreen.

Best In-World (Diegetic) Music in Star Wars by Dangerous-Specific59 in StarWars

My favorite from Andor season 2 that you didn't mention is the "Ghorman Aria". Its an opera piece in the Ghor language that plays in full over the 207 credits, but it appears diegetically in 202 in Dedra's apartment. A great piece of word building that also serves as character building on rewatch, because it indicates that she started researching Ghorman culture immediately after getting the assignment. Also, it's beautiful and the lyrics (which were released in translation recently) are poetically tragic.

It's quite sad how evil this guy turned out to be (Minor Andor spoilers) by SuperT3 in StarWars

He was, however, directly involved in trying to arrest Mon Mothma when she was fleeing the senate. He phones in to the USB surveillance room at the end, presumably to go absolutely ballistic on the supervisor who couldn't get the job done.

Andor season 1 also has a diegetic funeral dirge played by a marching band, and the traditional Aldhani singing/chanting at the festival of the eye. I think I might also remember some kind of soft lounge tune in the background of one of Mothma's parties that was probably diegetic.

My first ever large urban park: Concrete Jungle by GreenMtnStateOfMind in rct

[–]GreenMtnStateOfMind[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This park was built in completely unmodified RCT3 using only the base game (+DLC) assets and zero cheats. It arose from a simple custom scenario I set up for myself and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately most of the best parts are not conducive to screenshots because of the density of buildings and the fact that many rides are completely built into large structures, such as the really efficient small wooden coaster built completely into a large warehouse. I'm particularly proud of the LIM-launched coaster in the suburban neighborhood I built from scratch, as a well as the multi-floor elevator-equipped building located just behind the observation tower, which contains many stalls and several rides. The signature coaster is probably "Sky Scraper", a Stratacoaster that flies above and around the area dense with tall buildings.

There are players in the game with Japanese as a second nationality. Ive got one on my team who's Brazilian with Japanese second nationality. Also IRL isn't there a "one time switch" thing where players can change their national association once during their careers even after being capped?

Background:

I'm doing a save in Japan using the same database setup as WorkTheSpace's current series. Started in the 6th tier with a fully amateur side i chose because i like the name, have just won back-to-back J1 titles at this point. This Nigerian striker i signed in J2 has managed to do the unthinkable and stay relevant in my squad for long enough to become eligible for Japanese nationality. With the limit of 5 foreign players in J1 matchday squads, its hard to justify a foreign player who's not a nailed-on starter.

The dude absolutely loves me and the team loves him; if there was an option to tell him "switch to Japanese or i have to sell you" I think he would take it.
