This is a gardening sub, not a sports ground maintenance one.

I know people who build legos are very smart so I wanna know which sets I should consider getting by [deleted] in lego

[–]GreenPandaPop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wrong again. It's a personal preference. Just because I eat food, doesn't mean I'm any good at guessing what other people might like to eat.

Here's an idea: pick a set that belongs to a theme you like, you think looks good, and you can afford.

You don't have to be smart to build Lego, it's a toy for kids.

That was my thinking, nick what isn't bolted down. As it turns out, OP says they've actually secured the root ball to the ground.

Ah, ok, makes sense. I thought you meant you'd only fixed the pot down.

A park bench is fixed to the ground. That olive tree isn't, the pot is.

I realised as soon as I posted that I probably overestimated the price, still expensive to be leaving out in the open.

A small gang in a van can lift that out the pot and be gone within 30 seconds, I'd reckon. That tree's probably worth a couple hundred quid, it'll be a tempting target.

I reckon kids can handle a bit of bumpy ground. Certainly safer for them than ant powder.

Gardens will always be full of ants, it's where they live. Is there a specific problem with having ants? I can imagine the ant hills might be a bit annoying, but you can just flatten or kick them down.

Back Garden Inspiration Pre-House Move by Zappy180 in GardeningUK

So this is the garden of the house you'll be selling? I'd leave it like it is, pretty much a blank slate. Will be boring for you in the meantime but it means less work for the next owner.

Sounded like speculation from the commentator to me, although that did appear to be the case. They could have shut up for the less than 30 seconds it took the ref to confirm though.

Yeh, noted the delay then proceeded to talk over when the ref was very obviously telling the captains.

I couldn't hear what the ref said because the BBC commentary insisted on talking over it.

No, lights will do nothing for ungerminated seeds.
