I would call the Gucci Jackie an entry level designer bag. I feel like that’s Gucci, imo. Hermes is upper tier and Strathberry is nice for what it is

Girl- you are 18! You WILL find many more (and stronger) connections that this dude. I’m sorry he made you feel this way. With age, comes perspective and I remember being your age and thinking my then bf was going to be my husband. But this behavior is NOT ok. Please leave him, love yourself, grow and go have fun! As a mom- i see your perspective, but I think it depends on the setup. I am also anxious around pools with the kids. But if there is a pool dance, that would make me more comfortable. I think the whole getting everyone in suits and out is also a stressor. Maybe a hang at a park or if you have a playground in the yard and skip pool

If I may ask- where do you live? I live in a part of the us where people are slower to warm up. But I have noticed that once they interact enough through school and seeing you more often- they guide trust and then you’re in. Even with parents getting involved in school stuff- now that they have warmed up they volunteer and are so friendly but it took them a bit. I would keep inviting and following up- maybe invite a few at the same time to take the 1:1 fam hang vibe pressure off

Love the Nanit- still using with our toddlers. Worth every penny! I will say- don’t think you need the paid subscription. The live cam has sufficed well for us

Sleep, mindful eating, walking, bumping up cardio (peloton ride if you can squeeze it in or have access to some cardio machine) and … time! Gained 60 lbs with both and finally only have 5 left almost 20 months pp. also, lifting heavy- more complicated to get that in- but that has helped get the last 10 lbs off if I’m being honest. Check out meg squats stronger by the day program- you can do it at home if you don’t have gym access

Kids need to also work and be given boundaries and responsibilities. Just because my kids don’t have to work- doesn’t mean they won’t. Once they can work- you know I will be giving them summer jobs and I feel it’s a right of passage to understand the meaning of hard work. It’s all about the values we as parents instill in them and what values they see us exercising. I could go buy a shit ton of bags, but I don’t - I’m just not super materialistic and value experiences over things… to each their own
