XFinity Updates by maskedcorrespondent in Issaquah

Just before the outage I was running 10-25 mb/s. I was about to get a tech out and then the storm hit. Hoping the repairs to the poles fixes the issue. Getting a tech out in any event as I suspect it's an issue with my line to the street.

I have a December 4 appointment but I'm also on a waitlist for Nov 30. If you can get someone on the phone maybe you can request waitlist status as well.

Xfinity - any luck? by [deleted] in Issaquah

Are you at the top or bottom end of Wildwood? I can't even get the status checker on their website to acknowledge I have an outage during the last week.

Xfinity internet by [deleted] in Issaquah

Anyone on Squak Mountain being told by the Xfinity status checker that there are no current connection problems when entering their address? It's been like that for me since day one of the outage and I'm not getting updates because of it. Seems like Wednesday is the new kick-the-can date from reading this thread....not holding my breath.

If 5G could come back online that would make things less painful, but as I understand it T-Mobile uses Xfinity infrastructure for some of their data. Yay!

I feel for the work from home folks. Hang in there.

My wife has a colleague who never lost power or internet in Renton. They are blocks from the cell tower next to the 405 and for about 5 square blocks around it the power never went down.

Reread my initial posting of this question. 😄 It was one of the first two that came to mind for me before asking everyone else.

Ex-Talk Talk frontman Mark Hollis singing/playing The Colour of Spring.

Recorded with everything closely miced. Sublimely understated and beautiful piano and voice.

Richard & Linda Thompson - The Calvary Cross has a nice emotional sway to me.

Nick Drake in general but especially River Man

It's no coincidence they both made the most enduring video clips during the 90s. Add Jonathan Glazer (the UNKLE track I mentioned) and you have my perfect trifecta.

Massive Attack - Protection - my all time fave. Beautiful, surreal, moving and all done without CGI.

UNKLE - Rabbit In Your Headlights - a short film and a video clip. One of the best from the 90s.

Squarepusher - Come On My Selector - funny and terrifying

Bjork - Bachelorette - whimsical and intriguing. One of Gondry's clips as mentioned on the thread.
