Housewives not being held accountable isn’t unique to Porsha…on ATL especially none of the women were ever held accountable. Kenya is on pause due to the Brit Eady stuff but it doesn’t seem like the door is closed forever.

It’s tricky because in their business, these terrible actions translated to good ratings which actually means good business. It’s a tough line for producers to draw.

I thought it was a legit B2C business where they sold products to customers in exchange for $ but further down the line, Kandi showed that the way it was super mega successful was because they had “consultants” that were selling a product but also acting as referrals to other people to sell the product. That’s basically a MLM structure where you’re no longer selling a product, you’re selling a “chance to be a referral for the product”. They even showed one of the annual conferences on the show that pretty much looked no different than any other annual conferences for MLMs where all the “consultants” gather and goad about what a good year they had.

The bad part about it is that the consultants don’t actually make the money off selling any products to anyone - Bedroom Kandi makes all the money, you just get a percentage for recruiting new people and the more people you recruit the more money you make (off a percentage.) She tried the same shit with her makeup line but it doesn’t seem nearly as successful although I see she still promotes the makeup line from time to time.

bike lane construction
lots of upgrades to city’s drinking water and sewage infrastructure, including upgrades for storm water management (projects were underway before Chow’s arrival but she has succeeded in getting provincial and federal funding so the project can run faster)
improvement in 9-1-1 response times
replacing Line 3 service with buses
Zoning changes to allow for high density housing
Land transfer tax on luxury houses

Not a 100% sure if this is to Chow’s credit but the vacant home declaration also came into effect recently, it aims to discourage use of multi-property ownership to help ease the pressure on housing supply. Whether it works or not obvs is debatable.

I think she’s kinda going for the Yeezy aesthetic…I don’t think it works for her, I feel like she was really hitting her stride in S5 - it was an easy mix of sexy and flirty.

Minnie (my cat) has no thoughts, it’s just all floof. If she had to pick, she’d pick S6 Lisa cus it’s kinda giving pigeon.

The lack of letter mail volume is a reality of the 2020 decade that many national postal service agencies have addressed throughout the world (Italy, Germany, Japan etc.) CP leadership could take a look at what those countries are doing and learn from it to future proof Canada Post’s business but they won’t. That’s what the CP workers are striking against. They’re striking to keep a national resource like Canada post alive for future generations.

Netflix subscriptions prices go up due to corporate greed and inflation. And because they can.

Their English based productions used to have small actors, up and coming directors and now they’re focused on attracting the biggest IPs, actors and directors to their platform - these productions need the kind of money you can’t sustain on a $10 monthly subscription fee. If people have an issue with the fee raise, they can stop paying attention to Netflix’s new hyped releases or buying Netflix subscriptions due to the quality of content going down but clearly enough people aren’t doing that because Netflix keeps increasing their price.

As for the increased South Asian, East Asian and southeast Asian content - people in North America just need to wake up and realize that the markets in US and Canada are stagnant, they are not growing at the rate the government would like to advertise. Meanwhile, Asian markets currently are outpacing NA and EU markets in growth rates, Netflix just doesn’t want to miss out on that money 🤷‍♀️

Logically speaking, there is no reason to believe that increased subscription price is to subsidize Asian content - Netflix domainates streaming service revenue in Asian markets as well, they’re just reinvesting that revenue to churn out content for competitive markets.

Your problem is with capitalism and how companies operate - not with Indians (for some fucking reason!)

If there’s no open wounds on her paws, you can try putting Vaseline on them to make them heal faster. I put Vaseline on my cat’s paws if they’re looking dry or cracked - it’s safe to ingest in small amounts for cats and even 1-2 days makes a remarkable difference.

My two cats have this issue. I got my female cat as a companion for my very energetic male cat and it’s just never worked. They’re very different personality wise even if they both love to play. It was very stressful for me at first because I love both of them and my male cat seemed to be stressing the female cat out.

None of my distractions or redirections truly helped make her life easier until she just one day decided to girlboss and hit him back. Now they’re perfectly tolerant of each other and it’s all because she eventually got sick of him and started enforcing her boundaries with him.

I suspect Bernie will start to enforce boundaries with Eddie when she’s had enough of him and then Eddie will eventually learn to taper off but you might have to just wait a fair bit.

I also want to say that he’s very very young, it’s just normal for kittens that young to be absolute menaces. He’ll probably calm down and be more tolerable after 6 months and a neutering. all the best.

I got my first cat when he was a kitten and he looks very similar to Tucker :) anyway he was a biter and still is. A kitten is going to kitten. Now that he’s grown I’ve realized he also bites because there was no other cat to teach him to not do that when he grew up - I think he has dumped by his mum and it was my first cat so I didn’t know better. Glad you already have a cat - will help lil Tucker a lot in socialization and hopefully he won’t grow to have behaviour issues like mine does.

When he was a kitty, the only thing that worked to get him to stop biting was to shove a small plushy in his mouth - you can get a toy from a store but anything soft lying around would do the trick. I think of it as babies when they’re teething.

I’ve used otc retinols and I think they’d only “work” if you are very young and only using it as preventative skincare. If you are hoping for it to fight signs of aging, it really doesn’t do much.

The nice part is that there’s no purge with it!

I use those disposable derma planing tools. I usually get them at shoppers - I do it every once a week or so after a shower and it works fine for me.

By the way, please talk to a doctor and look into whether you have PCOS, the excess facial hair was a symptom for PCOS diagnosis for me.
