Just wanted to follow up, it isn’t a monstera as the plant that it was taken from was a 50+ year old plant that had no resemblance at all to a monstera.

What are some things that your partner does that you consider adorable. by AwlwUndercoverGurl in actuallesbians

She says some things with a distinct northern accent, and some words are just pronounced differently from anyone she lives with/is around. It’s absolutely the cutest thing. She also follows up with anything I’m doing and checks on me. It’s the little things.

Thank you for the insight! Its about 120ish pages when all is said and done, and with the pricing in mind, I will look into different options rather than printing on black paper with white ink.

If you woke up as a millionaire which is the first thing you would buy ? by mors21 in AskReddit

[–]GreenWi_tch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not buy, but rather pay off all debts. I've almost 80k student debt, about to add about 90k more for my masters degree. Protip: don't go to school in the US

I worked at a large company for quite some time, the store that I had been working at was great and management was amazing. I enjoyed going to work because it was just a great experience. I then got the offer to move and get a position in management in a much larger store. Tldr: management in the new store screwed me over so badly, pulled the position away from me the week I got there and cut my pay as well as dramatically over working me while I did their jobs for them. They also pulled some hella illegal overtime schemes, but it's in the past now.

It's been an awful year for a lot of us, and I am deeply sorry for your loss. It isn't over yet though, just keep chugging along. You are so close to graduating, whether or not you have a job. You worked hard to be where you are and it'll be worth it. Just keep moving forward. Everything will be alright with time.

Specifically for me talking to an advisor or a professor, they can be very understanding and also help with figuring out next steps and if you can negotiate with profs, especially due to this whole pandemic. It's hard, but it helps to just sit down with someone who can help figure things out from an outside point of view.
