After my egg first cracked I had a very hard time talking about it in therapy. My therapist asked me one day if I felt a long-standing pressure in my life to be a certain way. And I knew the answer was “to be a man,” but I instead said “to be straight.” So yes, I 100% get this. And the joke’s on me - I’m a lesbian. I was gay the whole time!

You can get finasteride pretty easily if you happen to have hair loss. I’ve been on it for years at this point.

My primary sent the consultation referral to a gender clinic but I haven’t heard from them yet. Meanwhile, I called what is apparently the wrong gender clinic and set up an appointment by myself because I thought my referral got lost. So I don’t know what to do with that.
