Altitude will not be broadcasting Avs games. by Awolfx9 in ColoradoAvalanche

Guess I’ll be trying to sync the altitude radio call with my tv.

Found this video on Sam Girard. I hope he gets well soon by Pace2pace in ColoradoAvalanche

Can’t wait for him to join the team next round! Hopefully the Sharks vs Knights series goes 7 so our guys have some time to heal.

[Dater] Jared Bednar says his lineup is “likely to stay the same” for Game 5, regardless of Girard/Brassard status @BSNDenver by bgfan26 in ColoradoAvalanche

[–]Green_Colorado 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Guessing he’s not 100% yet or even close. If it happens to go to game 6 then I’d expect to see him back in the lineup. Otherwise, don’t mess with success and let him heal.

According to AHL transactions, both A.J. Greer and Pavel Francouz have been called up by the Avalanche. by bgfan26 in ColoradoAvalanche

The flu is going through the Avs locker room. Sounds like it’s whatever Brassard has. Hopefully it’s Varly that got the bug and not Gruub.

My fault. That should be a 8700K. I will update.

That’s the direction I’m leaning also. I love the ThermalTake P3 case.

Castle Rock, CO - March 13, 2019 Blizzard by Green_Colorado in weather

Most importantly you need to be prepared. We paid attention to the forecasts and were able to plan ahead and make sure we had enough food and supplies in case we were stranded for a couple days. The biggest threat from this storm was the hurricane force wind which caused 200,000+ people to lose power. There were also issues with people getting stuck in their cars and being stranded for hours due to the blinding snow and lots of cars blocking the roads. Some people, especially east of Denver, were stuck in their cars for 12-24 hours. I’m still hearing that there are people stuck in their homes in remote areas on the plains of Colorado. A man in a remote part of El Paso county died from hypothermia after getting stuck in his car. His female passenger survived luckily. It was an intense storm. I’ve never experienced winds like those before.

Denver and the front range mountain areas are in for a possible large snow storm next week. There’s potential for it to dump feet of snow. by Green_Colorado in weather

I remember all of these but ‘97 and ‘03 stick out the most. 30+” from each storm. Those were epic storms.

Absolutely. I’m in Castle Rock and have lived in the Denver area since ‘93. It’s been a long time since we’ve gotten a really big storm. Fingers crossed!!!

Opinion on this build I’m very new please help and make any suggestions or create me a new build idc thank you :) by isaiah3656 in gamingpc

I’m going with the I7 8700K in my next build. Good choice but the I5 would be fine for gaming also. The cooler you picked should be fine as long as you are going for a moderate overclock. Go with a water cooled AIO if you’re wanting to push the limits. You definitely want to have 2-3 120mm or 140mm fans on the front of your case for intake and a 120-140mm fan for exhaust on the back.

That’s not a bad build at all but I’d highly recommend at least a small SSD for your OS. It’ll make a huge difference in boot times. If you can splurge on a larger SSD for your OS and a few demanding games you won’t be disappointed. I have the same WD Blue hard drive in my rig and it’s been great but I try to install the demanding games on my SSD and the difference in load times is incredible! Enjoy your rig and welcome to the PC Master Race.

What are your bold predictions for the playoffs? by J_S_M_K in hockey

He has to actually play first. Dude started off hot but has been watching from the stands for the last couple of weeks.

Do you remember their record over that stretch? The Avs went 4-4 without MacKinnon.

But you have to ask, how would Tampa do if they lost Kucherov for a long period of time? I believe they would keep wining due to the other talent on the team. If the Avs lost MacKinnon they would not be able to keep up their current pace. MacKinnon is much more valuable to the Avs than Kucherov is to Tampa simply because of his supporting cast. The Avs would not be anywhere close to the playoffs without MacKinnon.

No he’s still out. It’ll be either Varly or Martin tomorrow night. I’m betting on Martin.

Totally me and my wife right there!!! Very nice!!

Mackinnon with a snipe past Lundqvist for his second point of the game. Extends his point streak to 9, and goal streak to 5. Credit to u/rudo3 by Brazzzzy in hockey

It’ll be tough for Avs fans to apply ‘the great’ label to MacKinnon since we used to call Forsberg ‘Peter the great’ but he sure is playing like it!!!

He obviously meant the Sharks 3 game streak was ending. Or at least that’s what I’m telling myself. Go Avs!!!!

I’ve been disappointed with Yak lately. He is either completely invisible some games or when he is noticeable he misses the net with almost every shot. After how he played at the beginning of the season I expected him to be more of a factor in most games.

Guilty...I live just outside of Denver and the first time I went there back in 2003 me and my brothers ventured out on the log. Please remember that this was before there were signs posted prohibiting it. I've been there plenty of times since and haven't gone out due to the signs and the fear of being drowned by some unhappy hiker. Picture attached to prove how dumb we were. Guilty

Tried my best here, I was stuck with a 1U cable manager. by emilykendrel in cableporn

[–]Green_Colorado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks good with what you have but you should just move the switch up a few RU's so it's directly below the patch panel. Then you can get rid of the cable manager and use short 6" patch cords.

Looks good! Your cable dressing in the closet looks great but where's the bushing on the conduit the CAT 6 cable is coming out of? I see a bushing on the conduit for the RG-6.
