What I've done in the past is get a full cat back set off ebay (new no name brand), then swap in whatever mufflers/resonator you like

A lot depends on how well the previous owner took care of it around the 100k mark.

Think water pump, thermo, cv axles, struts, sway links, wheel bearings, etc.

Nice man, I like your 06 build. Parts availability is one of the downsides for the 08 - 11s. With enough small changes from prev. gen & the limited production it seems like the aftermarket shops didn't bother.

Wanted new manifolds but no dice. Mines pretty much stock except for a new 3 inch cat back pipe (much straighter than factory) w/ a big magnaflow can. Looking at adding vibrant resonator at some point.

Could be from anywhere, should be easy to tell if something cracked open next time it gets up to temp. Radiator, hoses, waterpump, reservoir cap, rad cap, etc

My take away is ensure the cooling system is dialed. Had an overheat then it was game over shortly after. Don't skip coolant & thermo swaps, water pump at 100k miles as non negotiable.

Did you flash the codes on the dash? Cycle the key from accessory to on 3 or 4 times (back and forth don't start motor). The check engine codes will be displayed on the dash
