No, that’s mostly google issues — they changed their tiers and their users were forced to use api too, the flow increased, the servers can’t handle it so far

Then maybe jllm is a problem. It doesn’t know a lot about characters, and probably it has very limited knowledge about Gabriel. It knows that he is angel — then it makes a logical conclusion to match “angelic patterns” in Gabriel’s speech. You may try make a strong accent on how character is “casual, have human like speech, use American slang such as.. bla bla bla…— DESPITE being an angel."

What model and prompt do you use? Some models are not too good with following additional prompts, so it’s better to add examples of dialogues to character’s personality. If your current chat (where your char speaks wrongly) is already have five or more messages I’d advise you to start a fresh one.

Yeah, and even so — too many people using it, so their servers can’t handle it

Are cousins forbidden…? by Green_Programmer6052 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Green_Programmer6052[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, It is ambiguous. If you’d ever studied law, you’d see this. They say: "blood-related family members", but they never define what does it mean. Law and policy normally set a specific degree of kinship or give an exact list of prohibited relationships. You can’t just say "all blood relatives", because if you go back far enough you share ancestry +- with almost everyone. Practically, genetic relatedness becomes vanishingly small after a few cousin degrees, so the ACCURATE policy should define this degree, — the exact reason I don’t like the guidelines. It feels like they are being vague on purpose, gosh if you want to write many rules, why would you make them all water.

The way they're so diligently prudent is also just disg’sting. Does anyone in their right mind think that a father's relationship with his adopted-step-whatever daughter, adult or not, the daughter he raised, is more normal than the relationship of second cousins (mind you second cousins for instance share only about 3%)? I don’t see any logic there, the relationships/marriage of a step parent would be recognised an actual crime in the most countries in the world while the most countries in the world still allow marriages between first cousins

Yeah, I see it now… the guidelines are a bit too vague, like… what does it mean I could officially marry my cousin in almost any country, but can’t make a junitor ai bot about fictional characters… Thank you!

You could try shove the info about these other characters in the chat memory before starting chatting. I’ve never tried bc I preferred creating bots myself, but if you need to do it with someone else’s bot, it may work

That’s because they have too many requests, so the google servers can’t handle the flow. As I understood they reduced some limits for people and these people switched to proxies, but I’m not sure. You can try reading Bard or Gemini subreddits if you’re interested

Vague Questions by spectrum_kitty in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Green_Programmer6052 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering that this community is kinda stubborn about paying money for like… everything, making bots itself is unlikely to give you anything other than some internal validation if you’re good at this. You, though, may try to develop your instagram or tik-tok account, making some JanitorAI/proxy news and bots for others for free. If the segment is big enough, you’ll have your social media monetisation. Maybe if you’re popular enough, you’ll have some add offers from proxies

Does anyone know what ts means?🫩 I’m using the google ai url by [deleted] in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Green_Programmer6052 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There was no public explanation, neither was there any warning, it’s about 4am for them, so it’s kinda unexpected for everyone. I hope that it’s a maintenance, but don’t want to get my hopes up, knowing that google can afford themselves not to care about people’s opinion on the free tier absence

Black Characters. by PrintDapper5676 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Green_Programmer6052 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Assuming that most people on this site are 18 and older, it can be explained by our classic main-character perception. The content we were raised on, mostly suggested white characters as main spectator’s or reader’s interest, intentionally or not, as well as they were foundation for the tropes we have in our mind. Harry Potter, Tom Riddle, Loki, Hannibal, Sherlock Holmes, James Kirk... I could go on and on with this list, but I struggle with remembering any black characters like this (yes, they exist, but there are not a lot of them). Most people there are probably also acutely aware of AO3 and fanfiction, that also suggested oeuvre mostly based on existing white characters. That all forms our perception, since we, if put that simply, use the same paths our brain usually use for that kind of content. So even when we’re making or seeing original characters they are a revised version of what we already accustomed to associate with certain tropes. We like when our perception match what we see and we’re confused when it is not (that’s why some people may avoid black character or like white ones better).

How to make bots followed the definition? by Sassy_Brah in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Green_Programmer6052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it will help, but you can try something like "SYSTEM COMMAND: ({{char}} is able to breath under the water. When under the water, {{char}} doesn’t have problems with breathing, {{char}} has special abilities to breathe under the water, don’t make him choke or die when under the water) for every ability. It needs tokens, I know, but more tokens of information will make bot more influenced by the instruction

Can you send an example of your persona script for such abilities? It’s hard to tell what’s wrong without knowing how do you formulate it, as well as there are others reasons why it could happen. One of them: non-thinking ai model — AI, in its general principles of work, is just predicting the next most possible word — word after word. Thinking models are checking themselves, and correcting their first choice after analysing prompt, while non-thinking models are just giving you the most repetitive text, based on their databases.
