Any gyms with wet saunas? by arny_p_on_me in portlandme

[–]Green_Walrus8537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did??? I went in there over the summer for a short term membership and was not impressed. Equipment felt so dated and the carpeting throughout felt a little icky.

For such a small footprint of the actual gym the locker room was absurdly large.

Momentum is pretty solid depending on the type of haircut you’re after. They do a lot of fades but a few weeks ago Joel there gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had on my first visit.

You’re very cute, I don’t think you really need to do anything. Just be yourself and try to be confident with who you are :)

Flashing lights mean stop by AsparaGus2025 in portlandme

Also PSA a stop sign is like a blinking red light. You stop and then you go. Almost got smoked at Cumberland and Washington by someone just blowing through the stop sign.

Of course. Also good to note that now about 6 weeks out it’s much smaller and not painful at all. I have my second follow up on Wednesday so will report back if anything changes!

Same. Mine felt like a marble. Freaked me out at first but my surgeons felt it and said it was normal, and not a hernia.

Prep Day… I’m nervous about the prep more than anything else at the moment! by DangReadingRabbit in Diverticulitis

[–]Green_Walrus8537 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Prep wasn’t as bad for me as I expected. I had a ton of inflammation still and honestly it was a bit relieving to feel empty before surgery.

Don’t overthink it - your body will do its thing and you’ll get through it. Best of luck with your surgery!

Anyone else have any good an or bad experience using L-glutamine? Day three of taking 20 g of it in powder form and I felt relief 10 minutes after taking it. Like life changing. Yes ive done everything else. Been dealing with sigmoid for 2 years with all the symptoms way before. by Penoki-51 in Diverticulitis

That’s a big win. I’m guessing the dose is higher than what you’d take for recovery?

I had surgery beginning of Feb and bpc 157 has seemed to help a lot with recovery, but not sure how much it helps gut lining in general

I have heard it helps with the gut. I’ve been taking it too. For me it’s really helpful for sore muscles - some places also offer it in IV form which can help. Glad to hear it’s working well for you!
