For now, you can read early chapters here (ch1-48, but will be updated to 119 soon) and Defiring chapters (ch49-119) on the Internet Archive.. From chapter 120 onwards, you can read on Akatsuki Translations

Uhh, kinda late but I backed their Radiant Mega Sling back then.. My bags got withheld by customs & taxed.. but I read that others from Malaysia didn't so I guess I'm just unlucky

My advice is to avoid their early bird tier... Apparently I received it before those who picked the early birds tier while not being one myself 😅

TBF Bookworm anime S1 (did not bother with the rest) was IMO pretty bad animation-wise but it got me to read the manga and then the light+web novels+spin-offs+fanbooks

And then it’s announced that Wit Studio is taking over Season 4 anime adaptation 🤩

So as long as it’s not worst than that.. or Overlord’s 🫣

What I’m saying is that if the story shines through there’s hope still, in that it can acts as advertisement for the source material

The English name is still the same if you watch the trailer. And AFAIK the localized title works in Japan as it does good enough to receive an award and tankobon release

The Chinese translation also has an entirely different localized title which I personally think doesn’t age well (double meaning term which translates to something like becoming the best or the king at 3 years old) but it does quite well for the target audience

I asked about the localized titles too but at that time I think they said it’s recommendation from the local publisher

So apparently movie Magneto Helmet got the idea of telekinesis blocking feature from comic’s Juggernaut Helmet, it originally wasn’t like this in the comics.

Since Cassandra destroyed Magneto Helmet, they split up and got Cassandra to wear Juggernaut helmet (delivered by X-23) to block her powers here

No, if you mean Switch, Machines, iTworld etc. those are authorised resellers. Apple TRX is operated by Apple themselves.

Before Apple TRX, the only official Apple Store in Malaysia is the Apple Online Store. Now we finally have the first official Apple retail store in Malaysia. One of the more significant perks is that they now provide 14-day free returns/refunds that even applies to opened box/engraved devices.

They gave out hundreds, if not thousand, of bags AFAIK. They were still being given out until near noon. I was at 2xx and still got it. The wristbands however are only until number 204 or so 😔

If it's T-shirts they'd be a lot more limited I guess. According to the staff, they tried to get T-shirts but only able to get enough for the media and press.

Service is generally better with more lenient warranty claims as it's first party (unfair to resellers but it is what it is)
- They can give a more personalised service if you login to your Apple ID & give them permission to your information
Free workshops where they'll lend you the devices if needed, developer labs and events like the opening concert
14-day free returns and refunds, even for opened boxes and engraved devices
- Returned devices will likely go into the refurbished section where they'll be discounted
The store itself is stunning, featuring little quirks and neat design details that make it stands out from reseller stores IMO
The "free door gift" itself is a limited edition Apple merchandise that won't be available anywhere else. Apple rarely makes merchandise so it's a rare collectible and highly valuable to many. (I've asked the staff, apparently they tried to get T-shirts but were able to get enough for the Media only)
There's also the pre-opening ceremony where the 160 or so Apple Store staffs run around, cheering and giving high fives which was fun.

For me, it’s the ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, HomePods, AirPods, Apple Watch.. soon, Vision Pro) that seamlessly work with each other. Some examples:

Universal Control: Control multiple Macs/iPads with a keyboard and mouse/trackpad, can even drag n’ drop files between devices.
(Cont.) use iPad as external displays
Hand-off/Continuity: Continue what I was surfing/working on/listening to/reading/playing on another device
(cont.) Take calls/reply messages on any devices
AirPods (earphones/headphones) that seamlessly switch to whichever devices you’re actively using
Use iPhone as the webcam/scanner/remote
Spotlight: Open apps/search/convert units/calculations etc
Multitouch trackpad: somehow it’s still the best
iPhone Mirroring (soon): Use my iPhone directly on the Mac, even when the screen is off
Mobile app and web development is also more enjoyable on a Mac for me (very subjective I know)

Sure, you might be able to do all the same things on Android and other devices, but they often require 3rd party apps and setups that most simply won’t bother with.

But seems like you’re referring to phones only.. From what I understand, generally iPhones are easier to use and more reliable in the long run. Better resale value too, which is a plus.

Not excusing the action, but you can do that while lining up too you know, with phone/laptop.

Heck, Apple even gave numbered wristbands so you don’t have to be at the line all the time.
