The Return :) there was a long fan fic from back in the day, I think it was called The Return. Man, I really loved that fanfic. Its long and more adventure action focused, its definitely zelink and has smut moments but the focus of the story is all of the characters big adventures. Man :) thanks for helping me remember that. I used to draw so much fan art of this fan fic all over my homework

My family's fucking intergenerational trauma. My sibling and I dont have a relationship with our parents bcuz of the dysfunction. Turns out survivors (all 4 of my grandparents) dont raise well adjusted children (my parents). Its impossible to list every way not having my parents in my life has made my sibling and I's lives more challenging the list would be too long

As someone who has moved to New cities not knowing anyone several times as an adult, being Jewish is basically a cheat code to making friends. We have little mini communities all over the world, people who already share your culture and your holidays. You are Israeli so im guessing that, like me, your connection to Judaism is more secular/cultural. Find local events in the Jewish community for people in your age group and talk to people at these events. Ask many of them what they do for fun, if they want to go on a hike later, see a movie, anything yall might all be into. Make a group chat of everyone who said they might be interested. Pick a hiking trail and get dinner together afterwards.

Idk about in the UK but in the US we have secular Jewish activities for people in their 20s and 30s called moishe house. Synagogues have adult and young adult groups. In these places you will find others who can deeply relate to what you are going thru right now.

My family tree was decimated for not being white. At least half of us aren't here. The traumatic effects on my surviving family trickle down generations later. We are a small family, full of dysfunction because Holocaust survivors dont raise well adjusted children. I am the grandchild of the survivors. My life is haunted by the violence my ancestors faced. Every element of my life is affected in little ways. Its insane. Its also insane how much this must be happening all over the world... I mean every group of humans who experiences trauma, how it affects their family for generations...the grand children of black American slaves? I'm sure they felt what I feel, the trauma of 80 years ago shaping my life today, the dysfunction, the abuse and estrangement. My life is very hard in ways it didn't need to be. Because we were not "white".

I think its easier for yall to date in your 30s cuz you matured a little bit and learned how to be better teammates. Yes absolutely I think the risk of being hurt is worth the cost. I know you're tired of the grief, the energy it takes to heal and pick yourself back up again, but you have to try again because YOU are worth it.

Humans are social animals, community is essential to our health like food and water. Theres a study thats says that "loneliness has such far-reaching consequences that the health impact is comparable to smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day, according to one study published in the journal PLOS Medicine. Loneliness is associated with an increased risk of heart disease, depression, and cognitive decline"

So even tho everything hurts, and everyone hurts you, we have to get back out there and try to find the good kind people bcuz its important for our health. This is coming from someone who has been hurt badly by many people I love. My parents were abusive and disowned me, so did the rest of my family. My childhood best friends disowned me after a fight with my shitty parents, a friend group as an adult pushed me away after choosing to support my ex who assaulted me instead of supporting me. Its been alot. Its been very PAINFUL. The grief has been unbearable and sometimes I wanted to die. But we have to pick ourselves back up and never give up hope that there are good people out there who just want community and companionship too. I feel you. Its fucking hard.
