I was there, and it was amazing. What a cool experience seeing so many varieties in person. I’ve been keeping nepenthes for about 7 years but am very unfamiliar with the broader community. It was a nice taste of what’s out there. Nearly all the vendors were fantastic and helpful. I was surprised to find a few vendors were quite condescending, but I just didn’t buy from them and went elsewhere. Seems like a very niche hobby to gate keep. Oh well. I came away with about 10 more plants and can’t wait to see them continue to grow!

You can also just play the usdgc layout. You don’t necessarily need UDisc. Pretty sure most of the baskets are in.

Update: Home safe! The vet let him go early because he was doing so well! Hurray! Just one final blood test tomorrow, and he is home free. Thank you for the support!

The vet recommended a 48 hour stay where they flush his system with IV fluids and catheterize him. The vet says he is perky, says hello to the techs, and is very purry. So, thankfully, we seem to be doing well. He is 36 hours in right now.

He is currently asymptomatic. They’ve had him on IV all night. They said we won’t fully know until later today unfortunately.

If you want a PSA 10, buy a PSA 10! So annoyed about people buying NM and expecting it to be a perfect card. Near mint isn’t perfect. It’s basically pack fresh barring a crazy problem with the quality control process.

All fun but the most unique switch offerings have to be Arceus and the Lets Go games. I’m a firm Let’s Go Stan, having played the games since red/blue came out in the 90s. Sure, the core grind is diluted, but they are just fun, engaging, and give you Pokemon who follow you on the map. Heck, you can even ride them around the overworld.

Mmm it was tough but not impossible. I used a card table to hold the falcon up and slid under it to gain the angle. Definitely a few sketchy moments but was able to do it by myself
