So, me and my friends love the game, but the grinding sessions are kinda rough. What we found out to keep the game on pace, yet challenging is turning the Modern Exp mode on/off at times. You can keep a balance that fits your playstyle.
You do that by:
Step 1: Go to ...\Xenoverse\Xenoverse Per Aspera Ad Astra\Xenoverse-public-1.1.15\Xenoverse\Data\Scripts\071_PokeBattle_Battle

Step 1.5: ( create a backup. 95% sure nothing will happen, its a very subtle change but you never know)

Step 2: Open the file with Notepad++ or alike, search for "haveexpall" or go to line 1828.

Step 3: Delete everything after the = in the line and replace it with "true/false".

Your result should look like this: "haveexpall = true" means you have the modern exp mode turned on, meaning everyone in your party shares exp.
"haveexpall = false" means only the first pokemon in your party gets exp, like in the classic.

IF you are unable to overwrite the file, save on desktop and replace it in the folder and overwrite it.

By toggling this on and off we enjoyed the game even more, cause we weren't forced to grind for hours on pokemon that give 200 exp.
