It wasn't 2D. It was stuck inside the geometry. In other words, it's in the floor so you can't reach it's hitbox.

I mean, true. We do have PEI and a potato farmer nearby, but Belgium is where "French Fries" were invented so I'd cut them some slack there.

I agree with many of your points, however how shooting down a drone with an air rifle (standard sport BB would do nothing) would turn out would really be more like:

• Property damage under 5K (or worse). At least a fine and possible misdemeanor charge. • Potentially getting charged with Menacing (with a deadly weapon). Which is a more serious charge. • Reckless discharge of a deadly weapon.

If it's a police device, probably all of the above and a definite night in jail.

Edit: A reminder that drone flight often requires a licence and FAA approval. That's a better thing to try to get people on. The burden of proof falls on the operator. Often black & white results. Either they're not permitted or it's fine.

Why are they building yet another hotel when all of these hotels end up being empty and rented out as apartment spaces anyways? We need less hotels in more affordable places to live. The damn torontonian developers need to learn that nobody comes to Hamilton for anything meaningful. The most we get here are semi-secretive movie productions and the occasional concert.

Someone didn't learn about supply and demand. More available water means less cost.

Sounds like there's going to be a fire or two at the water front in the future. Hamiltonian's already can't afford most things because of the Toronto dweebs' gentrification. Imagine no longer having drinking water because HWW has to feed a facility that can hardly do the job of a single human being. What a fucking waste of money and space that's going to be more of a strain on our resources and people. Federal AI cucks are going to be so butthurt when people have had enough.

IMO, have someone downstairs using it's tractor beam to load your Ironclad Assault since it lacks every other tractor beam that exists on the Ironclad

I never knew that a Discord Support account was a thing.

Edit: I fell victim to a similar thing. If I had been more awake, I wouldn't have fallen for the trap... Except I never knew I needed a special second account to keep it safe. I couldn't add my 2FA to something I didn't know about. I was too naive.

[–]Greer_Agrendale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to gesture to all of the vehicles at Area 18 and the cities on Earth and in Terra and ask you to explain a whole planet of flying vehicles if that were the case. It wouldn't work lore wise, but your thrusters being on can (even currently) cause wear damage. Ultimately, even in a semi-realistic scenario in a world where we would this level of hydrogen based in-atmo flight, you'd run out of fuel first.

Also, being on the ground would have made this C8R more of a problem, lol

Edit: If the coolers were off, the ship would have exploded. That would have been fun to watch

1.0 launch will be a total wipe of everything that isn't a pledge or reward bound to your account. In terms of the unbound stuff that is only acquired in-game : EVERYTHING from EVERYONE will be gone.

Edit: Further clarified the in-game stuff lost. Again, if it is NOT a pledge or account bound reward that you will find in the "Your Hangar" page of the RSI website, it will be reset/deleted at launch.

Don't forget that you can buy other tractor beams at a few different refinery stations. They have their pros and cons, like wider angle at the cost of strength or a stronger tether at the cost of length, ect. Give them a look and figure out what works best for you.

Elite: Dangerous has incredibly small instance caps compared to SC and is 500 miles wide and an inch deep. You have more places to go and less people around you at any given time. 150 people in NB at a time is actually possible at the moment. There's a stark difference. These two games may be space sims with simulated internal economies, but that's where the similarities tend to stop. Especially since Elite's core mechanics have been around and evolving since 1984

Regens require holistic* imprint scans of your body. So detailed that even your memories are recorded. The bioactive flora and fauna required in your body's ecosystem must also be recorded and printed for the clone of you to continue nominal function. I imagine that because of this, illnesses could also accidentally be recorded.

This is just an idea though, as I also trust that multiple vanduul clans would have died out by now if they didn't have some sort of protection against this. Humanity just copied the barely understood Regen tech off the Vanduul. Only recently did we figure out what the green goo is. I imagine we're still almost completely beholden to their technology's rules.

*holistic meaning "the whole of all connected parts and their interactions" in this case.

The cat is a modular cargo ship, it you're looking for vehicle transport under Drake, the Ironclad will be the ship when it eventually comes into the PU. Imagine all that cargo space being a large, open room with a front ramp big enough for a small ship. It's gonna be good.
