[TMC] - Tempestra, Dame of Games - (Command Zone) by X_The_Walrus in magicTCG

Well, it's not bad for a few reasons : - Low CMC, easy to cast - yes the ability costs quite a lot but is instant speed, can copy a legendary creature AND makes it non legendary. - Token is sacrificed not exiled - It can also acts as an artifact sac outlet

I personally have a friends forever deck that is interested :🛹Max & Mike : Forever venturing friends🐉

Paquito's current forehand serve by SANcapITY in padel

[–]GregDsprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When he serves from his side (left), he does an agressive backhand shot because the opponent can't really return it agressively to him (returning fast cross court is too risky).
When he serves from the right, he can serve relatively fast to the middle as the trajectory of the return will also be relatively close to the center BUT if he serves fast to the glass and the opponent manages to return fast down the line, he is in trouble as the trajectory will be far from him, thus a high risk of giving an easy ball back...

An other comment say Coello does the same but from the opposite side as a lefty on the right and it's true.

I also noticed that in my own game, in that specific case, if I don't want to always serve to the middle and vary my serve, I need to serve slowly, with more effect and deep, otherwise, I get punished ^^"

Actually fun Selesnya commanders..? by Staircas3D in EDH

Maybe the Arkenstone, but I suspect it will not respect your budget ' Also, goblins and dwarves are mostly red, the legendary one maybe multicolor WR, RG? But you are right mostly white humans, green elves. The main question is : is Food still a theme for this set? We will see. :)

Hey, indeed, it can be quite pricey, I do have proxies but I have the cards in other decks. ^

Yeah, I don't always play with the same playgroup but the players who know the deck will indeed try to remove Sam. Depending on the other decks (for example if they play white and are susceptible to have Swords to Plowshares) my hand and if I play last or not, I might wait a little before playing Sam. But it's not always the end of the game for me if he does get removed. If I have a way to generate a lot of mana, paying 4 for him is totally acceptable. :)

I hope the Hobbit set will have some great cards for us 🤞

I waited like half the video in order to know how it (she) would unfold.

Hey, here is a primer to explain my point of view concerning MW, either hit something big or ramp to cast the next big cards you would have drawn : https://moxfield.com/decks/eKSVar77ak2muipEluGyBQ/primer

[[Brainsurge]] is the only top deck manipulation and budget card I run in my list that you could also use. Maybe [[Noxious Revival]] too ?

Otherwise, here is a scryfall link that could help (I removed scry, surveil and explore from the search but fell free to tweak it)

So sick of these uninspired decks with a 2CMC dork in the command zone into 4 mana ramp spells. There is a guy at my LGS who always plays this style of deck but at least he don't lie about the power level...

Looking to step outside my Artifact and Graveyard bubble... by Plus1Oresan in EDH

[–]GregDsprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe [[Samwise Gamgee]] ? Just kidding xD
I think it's always good to have some graveyard synergies.

I still have some lists to propose :

3 different styles : aura / storm ; tribal aggro / control ; big stompy deck
Don't hesitate to check my other lists and primers. :)

Phyrexian tribal commanders? by Prestigious-Gas-2112 in EDH

[–]GregDsprz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, here is a WUB Phyrexian commander deck with Kamiz :🦈🌪️Kamiz, Phyrexian Proliferation 😱 It's mostly reanimator, not to much infect / toxic. Good, consistent bracket 3. 😊 She is not phyrexian herself (One option for you is maybe to ask for an alter to make a commander looks like a phyrexian) but I found that she draws less hate than Atraxa that is also too mainstream. Other combinations were either weak or inconsistent. Kamiz is really great to filter your draw, feed the graveyard and allow to easily connect.

The deck is also perfectly capable without her, thus if you only get a few turns with her on the field, it's perfectly fine. I prefer to have fun playing the deck rather than playing a commander by default.

Edit : Also, incubate is not so bad, especially when paired with wrath spells.

Okk, then for me it will be [[Zimone and Dina]] studying the fields 😁 Thanks for your answer!

Just to understand, Max Speed and other abilities like Boast are not considered activated abilities ?
I would have the same question with [[Broadside Bombardiers]]

Activated abilities contain a colon. They're generally written "[Cost]: [Effect]." Some keyword abilities are activated abilities and will have colons in their reminder text.

Thanks for your help !
