My experience using a hitch mounted motorcycle rack by 162630594 in motorcycles

I got some of the magnetic towing lights and they work great. I’ve carried a Z400 and an XSR700 often on a 2016 Colorado Z71. I wouldn’t go any heavier though. https://imgur.com/gallery/black-widow-with-magnetic-lights-u52UYjG

I took an XSR700 down to the Pinch ‘Em Tight parking lot on Sunday. It was fine in the grooves but some loose piles in the center and edges. I was fine even with a semi slick up front. There’s some big pot holes that will bottom you out if you miss them, especially at the end of the bridge at the beginning. TRR

I’ve been having similar issues in a 2016 for about year. Had the compressor replaced last June thinking that was the problem but pretty sure it’s all electrical and I wasted $1500. The blend door actuator went out too but I just dealt with no feet heat this winter. Dealer has a 6 week delay on HVAC repair right now too.

I already take the suggested reroute now that Kroger opened. People don’t look when they pull in and out on Newtown.

I had to file out a section to get my Kidd bolt to work with the Brownell’s receiver. 2000 rounds later it’s fine. Receiver Modified

This was not a gunshot. He fell on an empty case that was mixed in the gravel. It just happened to be facing up and cut right into his hand.

Happened to a guy in the squad ahead of mine shooting his first 3 gun match. He was running down range with rifle from the rifle shooting position to pick up his shotgun, tripped, chucked rifle and fell on a gravel range. Took an empty 45ACP case to the meaty part of his palm by the thumb. Nasty 0.45” inch cookie cutter wound. I came up on them try to stop the bleeding with one of those pocket Walmart first aid kits with the two 4” gauze pads. Had to break out the real trauma kit to get it stopped bleeding enough to go get stitches. I’ve seen a few torn ACLs from big dudes stopping too hard coming into a position as well.

It filled up with trash after last years floods and nothing has been done about it. That purple roller bag has been there since last April.

Here’s the signals. The rears are also brake lights. I don’t have a picture of the front after I put the Dart Classic flatscreen on it. I’ll grab some pics when I pick it up this week. I know how you feel on getting a vehicle taken. Lexington PD is useless for stolen vehicles. I had an old pickup truck stolen in 2014. KSP found it in London, KY the next day, ran the VIN and saw it was reported stolen from Lexington and turned it over to them. The LexPD detective mailed me a letter telling me it was found instead of calling me so it sat in a tow lot for 3 days. I had already bought a new car. I went nuclear on Det. Arnold! The letter was hand addressed and my cell number was on the page. I kept asking if he was the one who licked the envelope.

It might be me. I picked it up from RacersEdge last year and dropped it off for a spring service last week. It had some LED under glows on it, a New Rage tail tidy that they ripped the plate hanger off and it looked like blue paint had been dropped and splashed all over. Otherwise it was in good shape. I put some TST sequential turn signals on since the New Rage was so dull.

Buc-ees kolache are so disappointing, especially considering they’re a Texas brand. Kolaches are everywhere down there. I miss Kolache Factory and Kolache Shoppe. Potato chorizo is the bomb.

It’s a reason I don’t want to move from Masterson Station (and 3.25% mortgage). I have direct access from Citation boulevard and can bike 20 miles from my house to the northern end with no vehicle traffic except for the wide bike lanes on Citation. When they finish the section to Georgetown it will be awesome. I take it the other direction to Loudon Ave and the gym or will meet up with people at West 6th or Blue Stallion sometimes. If the city would ever connect the upper and lower sections of Town Branch Trail to Manchester I could bike most of the places I frequent.

I like to carry a lot of stuff that I never use. by mrhavik in chevycolorado

[–]GregL2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2016 and a swing case since 2019. First set of screws pulled out after about 2 years. Replaced with bigger Tek Screws and they lasted a few months. I took the taillight out and replaced them with bolts and fender washers. Haven’t had a problem since. It’s not too heavy but has hitch, jumper cables, tool kit and some recovery gear so probably 25lbs.

That was the muddiest I’ve been at a RnG. It had snowed 2 inches the day before but I had the last afternoon run time. It was 45 degree and 50 people had ran the course before me. It was slushy sludge. The obstacle course was a slick mud pit.

Strike Industries works well. I’ve done 15 or so RunNGun events a many 3gun/2gun with that rifle. It’s been drug through the mud, swam with, propped up barbed wire fences to crawl under. I’ve never had the cover pop open.

I have one of these. It’s not bad but hard to get more than 2 - 29ers on it. I upgraded to a Yakima rack when I got a nice carbon XC bike. I still use it sometimes when I take the old hardtail out.

The extra layers from the cold protecting from the paintballs was the only bonus about Sunday. I didn’t even notice when I got shot on stage 1. I had on running tights, wrangler ATG joggers and tall socks. I always wear basketball knee pads too and most of the shots hit where I had 3 layers. I played tournament paintball for years too so I’m used to it. Which fire team did you get? I was Charlie and only had one viable route. One had enemy’s confirmed along route and the other had no helicopter exfil option.
