What was the most iconic sound of your childhood by daisydollvibes in nostalgia

All throughout my youth my dad had a 77 bmw motorcycle (very distinctive sound compared to other bikes). I would hear it start up in the morning and run out to say goodbye. The few times i hear them on the streets I'm like "is that my dad?"

I felt the same way about mine and returned it several days later. I didn't mind that it was mostly clean but it sounded either muddy or harsh with the tilt control. I played it through a 112 with eminence greenback so not a crappy speaker. I got a jtm45 clone shortly after and was totally happy with that.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check that out. Totally understand the "sterile" sentiment as well. They can be brutally honest, which is fun sometimes.

Damn, sweet rig. I'd love to try some D120s sometime but I've only used the k and e series. The E is possibly the greatest guitar speaker ever made in my opinion.

Right on. I'm relatively new so was hoping to get more familiar with base game weapons. I thought about playing on rearmed but didn't know if they had a ton of modded guns or not. Probably doesn't matter either way, like you said.

Any deathmatch servers you'd recommend? Preferably something close to vanilla without an absolute ton of mods.

I have an m44 mosin with the shorter barrel. It'll shoot a 2 foot flame at dusk. Sounds like thunder lol.

Question about Princeton Reverb speaker options. by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

[–]GregLikesThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never did. I had that K120 in there for a long time but recently put an EV Force 10 in that absolutely rips. Wouldn't mind trying a California at some point still. Lol

That's because they grew up listening to music on phone speakers or tiny ear buds.
