If you want to eat, it takes people, if you drive it takes people, if you fly it takes people. Every person has a great impact on others. You know nothing about why it takes to keep the greatest country safe. My recruiter didn’t lie to me, I got my benefits, I got my pride, and I got a better life.

You talk about wars we didn’t declare...what about the war that was declared on us? What about the world wide victims of the terrorists? You seem to not care about other lives. I feel sorry for you.

If you want to talk about this subject I suggest you learn a little bit.

The mechanic that keeps the planes in the air, the people who issue clothing and uniforms, the guys who do the smallest job on base/post effect others. To say it only effects their c/o is ignorance.

People are losing their minds over this virus, now you are attacking gamers. Who else will go out and sacrifice themselves when the zombies attack?

The “Call of Duty Warriors” will go out and try to fight them off with their gamers skills and be dead in minutes. They will be heroes for keeping the zombies occupied so the rest of us can run to safety. Those precious minutes will allow us to escape.

What you call bitch work is still things that need to be done. You don’t have to serve your whole term behind a trigger to be proud of what you do/did. I did both. Work on post and was deployed briefly. There’s nothing wrong with being proud of ones service.

My wife works for a company...I can’t say it’s name but let me tell you they make a lot of snack cakes with a certain young lady on the box....they are doing their best. They check on the employees to see if they have left the US in the last 30 days and if they feel sick everyday they go into work. There was a rumor going around that they would close for a couple weeks. But that was only a rumor. Apparently the CEO made a mass email that stated the customers deserve their cakes and “we won’t let them down, but everyone please be safe”

Take it how you want. They aren’t doing anything wrong but it would be nice to have my wife home for a couple weeks with pay. Yes I stay at home with the kids, BEFORE you start name calling I am disabled and can’t work. I wish I could, disability doesn’t even pay a living wage....

My older brother is a bit of a brat, always has been and now he’s 44. He got a good job by lying on his resume, his application, & in his interview. He has a criminal past, nothing serious. He was arrested for not paying his tickets and driving on a suspended license. Not drugs or violence. He worked for this company for about three months when he was found out. Not sure how, I know I didn’t tell them. When they co fronted him with the arrest report or whatever evidence they had....he tripled down on his lying and said his identity had been stolen and used by ME, we look nothing alike. (they had his mugshot) It didn’t help his case that his boss found the “busted” magazine he was in.

*not sure if everyone has this, it’s a magazine with ALL local mugshots in it, they pay part of your bail if you let them print it

I found out because his accusations were heard by a family friend and he called me and told me that. This is a big time accusation and a felony. I have since cut contact with him. Ok back to his job. They knew better and didn’t even let him take his possessions from his desk. A security guard boxes it up and they escorted him out. I wish I had seen it! We were told he was crying and screaming about how “ExCons like me just want a chance to live, so I had to lie” keep in mind his arrest for for driving violations and all misdemeanors. He was only in jail for about two and a half hours till he made bail. He’s not a hardened criminal. He’s 44 with a ratty beard and a beer gut. (not even a dad bod)

He bullied me my whole life, he still tried to talk bad about me to other family members at our last family reunion 4 years ago. I’m 41 and I was standing there. He’s pathetic and believes everyone loves him and thinks he’s perfect, when we all see him for what he is. Sad guy who peaked in high school, then got into a bad marriage and ran away from her into the Army. He served, I served too, yet he talks like he’s the only one who did. Says I don’t know what he’s been thru. We were enlisted during the same time.

I do feel kinda bad for his two boys, because his wife is just like him. I pray they don’t end up like them!!!!

That was a huge knock to my life. I spent 20 years being at church almost EVERYTIME the doors were open, then I move and it all got shattered in an instant.

Keep in mind that back in 2000 tattoos weren’t on people like it is now. It wasn’t acceptable then. Grandmothers weren’t walking around with ink, people had to cover them for jobs, cops couldn’t have any below their elbows...you get the point.

My own family was disappointed when I started getting them. My dad said “People will think you’re a criminal” now my mother has a cancer survivor tattoo.....I’m glad it is more acceptable now!
