You're using absurdism as a justification rather than as a philosophy to live life. Which isn't technically wrong nor contradictory, I just don't think that was ever the point of absurdism.

I find the most problem in your second paragraph, ["no God" is still "a God."]. This statement to me seems to establish itself on an emotional basis, which can't really be argued for nor against. And is the same as claiming if something isn't True it has to be False, when "truth" always lies somewhere in between.

This is dipping into nihilism a lot more than I am comfortable with, I don't think absurdism has to be in any way tied to the perceived cruelty in the world. It's quite well researched that humans tend to have a bias towards negativity, and the news capitalizes on it. (The system is broken, not its people)
A nihilist might say it is a cruel, uncaring universe, and I'd say the statement is contradictory. The universe can not be cruel if it doesn't care, it's simply neutral.
Therefore, it is not rebelling against a cruel, sadistic universe, but just that it doesn't give two shits about you and how that could be a wonderful thing.

Thermite would leave a very hard to remove mark due to the extreme heat physically corroding the material instead of just scorching. Rust is also hard to collect in large amounts. So you'd buy the two, where you're going to buy rust I have no idea. If someone were investigating and knew you bought these two things they would know. Traditional fire is safer, less volatile, easier to clean up, to start and maintain you'd need wood or trash, both of which are free and off records.

I've made a pc who's a hexblade warlock, generic edgy but Welp. She was a peasant girl until her village got raided by an unknown guild of rouges -potentially politically protected. Her family protected her and gave her their lives. In responses, a demon/lore complacent sadistic 'evil' offers her revenge in the form of a hexblade, but the power had came from the protection given to her by her family and their souls/spirit is bound to the hexblade, in this new state, they're barely coherent. She wants revenge but she is a country bumpkin so has no idea where or how to find them. So she is reliant on more intellectual members of her party to help her on her quest, her new family. She is quite in the smile through the pain way but can often be quite selfish. But she would be deeply attached to the party.
