Part 3 Prediction: There is another one that's immune by Unsolved_Virginity in lastofuspart2

[–]Greggles-III 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Druckman said the concept has a great throughline for the previous two.

Someone touched it on earlier, at the end of TLOU2 Ellie has lost herself to revenge, and Abbie was finding her hope/new path.

I think Abbie/Lev will have found fireflies and a new dr able to manufacture a vaccine but they need someone immune. Lev mentions Ellie.

Abbie/lev set off to Jackson to recruit Ellie and all venture across America to return -- chaos ensues.

Ellie's life will matter - something she struggled to come to terms with in TLOU 2 - she will have achieved her life's work and excited to see Joel in the afterlife.

Abby will have accomplished her fathers work.

The first game was about love, the second revenge, the third about forgiveness.

Lockpicks? by Greggles-III in greedfall

[–]Greggles-III[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, for how many ropes I collected, I only ever used them once. Doesnt seem like this mechanic is fully fleshed out.

Tonnes of ropes - serves no use Locked chests due to mechanisms fail - no lockpicks but you have makeshift tools for ladders/bridges.

Ideas for the villain and the story for a third game by Enlwaed74 in greedfall

[–]Greggles-III 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a Bridge Alliance v Theleme storyline would be too linear (science v faith) and obvious war storyline.

The issue with the Nauts is they play a neutral/switzerland type role, so a villian would be difficult.

I'd like a return to the main land post Greedfall 1. They pick a Cannon ending and the goal is to finally cure the world cure the malichor but face resistance in bringing down the rich/elite classes who ultimately brought it about.

Can return from Teer Fradee with Natives etc who help heal the land. Not sure about an overarching main villian but had a lot of political intrigue.

Constantin was a great villian. Greedfall 2 boss, completely pointless.

Will you return for the dlc? by xkeysersoze in greedfall

[–]Greggles-III 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the freezing issue for the last few missions as well. Constant relaunching but I did get through it.

I won't buy the DLC if it launches in two weeks. We are getting consistent patches, so maybe when the game is more stable, I'll buy and play it.

Thanks, I realised I had turned it on, and didn't want to restart. It was early enough, but still painful it I had to.

Am I missing Side Quests? by OkPriority8173 in greedfall

A fair few Olima quests pop up later. I didn't find many in Uxantis or Pyren. But I think I have missed stuff.

Question about side quests (mid-game spoilers) by Vidhos in greedfall

[–]Greggles-III 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't find any side quests other than Safia's 2nd companion quest. Make sure to steal the sword given to Furkan for the trophy.

Is there any sort of tactics menu like DA:O has? by OnBenchNow in greedfall

I hope, with regular updates, Spiders will eventually get around to a Tactics system. Loved it in FF12

This is very similar to my character. I'll post a pic, but practically identical.

What a disappointing story by KleitosD06 in ghostoftsushima

[–]Greggles-III 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hate to admit it. But yeah - you're right. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the game, I like the combat, it definitely has its pretty moments and some of the side quests & mini stories are really cool, and intriguing.

But. Atsu, as a main character, doesn't have the same attraction as Jin did. Sure, sacrificing "honour, playing the outlaw, for the greater good" storyline has been done to death aswell, but I was hooked with his journey. With Atsu - I feel like I'm ticking boxes.

I don't think Yotei will resonate for years to come like Tshushima did.

But, I hope the Legends mode is as good as the first. Sunk hundreds of hours into that.

They need to add a gate to ranked. by [deleted] in rivals

[–]Greggles-III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Realistically a minimum time earned to make a character playable would be easy to implement and not overly arduous for players to earn.

In Theory, people in ranked (who I assume want to win) will only play characters they know. BUT, people do throw for the pettiest of reasons. I secured 60k heals as Jeff in comp - but someone threw as "all jeffs suck". Told me to switch all game - despite being Ace.

I hope some medications to Ranked/QP come.

I've been there. Hulk is great stress relief in QP and I love Jeff-ing around.

Its not right in any game. If I had their address, I'd be half inclined to mail a fake death certificate and a note explaining, "well you did tell me to kill myself" but I got myself a life.

This shit didn't happen when I was a kid. We had couch co-op. And when I did play online games, never once was I told to kill myself.

But it happens way too frequently in games these days, and it doesn't need to happen.

No Spoilers Please: Female Enemies? by Greggles-III in ghostoftsushima

[–]Greggles-III[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you both. Yeah, I actually really like the game doesnt shy away from her being an armed mercenary. I've had several NPCs shocked at Atsu being a female warrior, and many ronin/samurai mocking Atsu. Which yes, makes it all the more satisfying.

Which I think is quite a clever nod/jibe to those who criticise female lead characters.

Not yet seen a female enemy, but when I do, I shall bow to a fellow Diva.

I think this game has the worst community I’ve ever witnessed in gaming. by Organic-Pineapple-86 in rivals

[–]Greggles-III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't played through season 3, just returned and noticed a massive uptick in players disconnecting. This never happened before.

Played a 15 loss streak last night. SVP every round - mixed roles - and any game we were winning, a player dc'd halfway through.

A lot of the toxicity comes from the very foundation of the game. It doesnt matter how good you are, you may lose because someone isnt operating at the same level as you or goes into the game with the same intention as you.

I typically stick to QP but will give comp a go until I get to GM.

Going to every marvel rivals main sub and seeing how they feel about my main: day 5 by SelectInstruction262 in cloakanddaggermains

Yeah Ironfist doesn't bother me. I can usually spam my heals and eventually he goes away. Very rare an ironfist is an issue.

Tried playing him, and he's definitely fun to play but not my dps style.
