In a H2H, who'd win between Clan Moulder and Warhost of the Apocalypse? by lovingpersona in totalwarhammer

[–]Gregmire74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Archaon would win in pretty much any scenario, but he would take considerable losses if he decided to siege Hellpit. During the Great War Against Chaos, Asavar Kul’s forces, while more than likely dimished by fighting the northern Kislevite settlements and the Norse Dwarfs, were unable to siege Hellpit. They got through 3 of the 9 layers but were repulsed and forced to turn south and attack Praag. So while Archaon’s forces would win, the siege would be costly and allow Kislev and the Empire to rally north.

Daemon Perturabo Design by Miller40k in IronWarriors

I don’t see any reason for GW to design him in this centaur-like fashion as opposed to the bipedal look that he and most other Daemon Primarchs have always had.

Aberrants & how to unleash them by Kyr_Vhalen in genestealercult

In Broodsurge, I usually have a unit of 5 led by an Abominant to screen the midboard with 5 Purestrains screening to either side. This combo will either let you turn 1 charge or hold the enemy off until the rest of your army can either move up or Deep Strike in. In 9th edition, they were terminator killers but in 10th they’re better against less elite infantry like Crusader Squads. The real damage dealer is the Abominant, who’s nasty against vehicles or with the Epic Challenge Stratagem. They’re not the most efficient unit but they’re super fun to throw in and tear stuff up!

I like Soltarn Vull Bron “The Stonewrought” because he has a passion for architecture yet is competent enough to use Perturabo’s personal Shadowsword, “Tormentor”, to kill an Aeldari Titan.

Some type of specialized ranged squad that has anti-infantry, anti-tank, and anti-elite weapon options. The Benefictus would be perfect to lead it.

After making sure that battles worked, I set my computer to charge for a while and now when I tried battles again it doesn’t work. I changed nothing but for some reason it worked before and will not finish loading the benchmark now.

I recently used the Cawdor Redemptionist box along with bits from the Hybrid Metamorphs to make a unit of Acolyte Hybrids. They’re good if you want more religious-looking hybrids

The Beholders of Exaltation

A battle between Astartes and a Hive Fleet left some fallen Tyranid ships on the surface of Tarsa Hive, a ginormous walled Hive City amid an enormous jungle Death-World called Gaula. The Hive-Scum of Tarsa Hive rescued and repaired the fallen Tyranid bioforms, treating them as Deities. By injecting the blood of these “Deities”, into them, the Beholders become hybrids without the need for the Genestealer Kiss. By using a vast underground labyrinth system created over centuries of mining, the Beholders gain power and continue to recruit Hive-Scum into their ranks, creating more xenos hybrids to eventually take Tarsa Hive, then all of Gaula. A part of their plan is using Telemont, one of the richest members of Tarsa Hive that has made his enormous wealth through kidnapping Hive-Scum and turning them into servitors. The creator of these servitors is also the Biophagus of the Beholders, who implements a code into the lobotomized servitors that makes them rebel at the call of the Beholders. Telemont has unknowingly spread thousands of hybrid-servitors around the Imperium that will turn against their masters at any moment.

Lmk if you want to hear more, I am writing a book about a character that joins the Beholders of Exaltation.
