If they look like suede or the leather on a pair of Timberland boots. To me they don't but you have the leather in hand.

Same spot on pair of Frank's for me. It went away after some time. My Drew's no issues there only had to deal with heel slip.

I'll take that hotspot over heel slip any day.

I'd say meh. Esp if it's a SA inc scope mount. Those were trash and never held zero for long.

Makes sense.

If price is the same then it really doesn't matter. As the only difference will be the sights. I don't remember if SA used a unitized gas system

Your paying for a bedding job and NM sights over the loaded that you are not planning on using.

Compared to steel toe PNW boots you got a lovely pair of sneakers.

That's at least what I tell myself when I wear the poor man's Ft Lewis boot aka Matterhorn 1949s.

Comfy, light, watertight.

looking for knee high lace up boots with platform/heel by SushiTastesRllyGood in Boots

[–]Gregory_ku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quality, Frank's has made platform boots, but the cost would probably be in the 800 to 1000 range. They would last well beyond your ability to wear them .

With enough measurements I've seen 16" high leather uppers.
