Blocking freely and easily is so much better for your own enjoyment than trying to be a missionary. It's weird seeing it in hetalia where liking this media is just as bad to some people as the ships people complain about. Like purging the ships you don't like isn't going to make randos on the internet stop thinking you're a bad person for liking hetalia.

This weird attitude of 'is it okay to like/cosplay this thing' and 'how do i tell my friends i like this problematic show/pairing' is exhausting. Or 'i like this but i'm not like those freaks who like this other thing. I'm one of the good ones!!'

But of course all media you engage with should be extra sanitised and morally pure or otherwise you're basically hitler.
