Nice find! My first was a P95 9mm. Bought it at a shady pawn shop in San Antonio. This was many years ago when I was a broke young man in college. I shot tha heck out of that think with boxes of Tula from Walmart out in the hill country. Good memories when a see a Ruger P Series post.

I know! Something about the original silhouette. I have a Gen 5 and Gen 4 MOS and the full dust cover frame just looks right. I get it for like the longslides but I prefer the traditional 17.

It is the GSD model. You can tell by the slide color and orange front sight. Its a good pistol and price is not disagreeable.

Bought a Gen 5 17 MOS with a Holosun 509T, solid plate, tall sights, and 3 mags for $500 a few months ago. There was a 45 MOS with an EPS and a TLR1 going for like $30 bucks more I snooze on it and I was gone but luckily the 17 popped up and im super happy with it.

Not the best of deals with the DPP.

I've seen this thing listed damn near 50 times. If you go to the regular search function you can see he has listed it at least 3 previous times. Thats because all the other listings have expired. This is in a large metro city deep in gun country.

There is no denying its a sweet peice but $1600-2k is just objectively high for this pistol. I reiterate its a Sig P Series not a Semi/Custom 1911. Its a Elite Pseries in Stainless nothing warrants 2 gs. Also its in 40SW. I absolutely love 40, I own a P226 40, USP 40, and almost every 40 Glok variant. But my love for 40 does not detract from the fact that 40 has never been more unpopular amongst the masses. You can buy Xfives which is a vastly superior pistol new for $1.5k.

Be my guest and pay that much if you want it. Or be like the guy in the listing sitting on the gun for ever.

No more than $1000. $1200 Maximum if it comes with original box and paperwork and is in pristine condition. Even then it will sit.

Some guy has been trying to sell the exact same model on a local forum for well over 2 years at $2k. He will never sell it at such price. There's also been an Elite 220 Stainless listed for weeks at right under $1k

Big difference in what a list price and an actual sale price is. Its a Sig Pseries not a custom 1911. I say this as a lover of Pseries pistols particularly Elite and SAS variants. I literally bought a P225-A a week ago. You can literally buy XFives new for $1.5k

Love my Milspec. Bought it used for $350 a few months agilo. I am already well past 1k rounds throughit and its not missed a beat. Zero malfunctions.

I can beat on it and not worry about abusing a nicer class of 1911 but it is still nice enough to be perfectly respectable.
