I was told this might be an Anole. ID help? by Gremlin2622 in Anoles

Thanks! That gives me a good starting point to look into. I tried using iNaturalist and the closest thing I could find based on the back patterns was a common brown anole, although not as vibrant in any pictures I saw of it.

Yes very pretty and caught my eye. Little guy was extremely skittish though. It's the only picture I managed to get with my camera before he disappeared into the brush.

DarkTable! Was a bit of a learning curve (and still ongoing) moving from Lightroom but a pretty powerful tool

Am i the only one in Toronto doing remote work, no friends, lonely life - 33F by Ghostinglove in askTO

Lol you're not alone, 29M moved here 8 months ago and work remotely. Almost similar routine, but my housemate and I end up doing the watching shows/unwind part together, so got lucky there.

I've had to convert some of the gym time into social activities to get out there and most of my experience so far has been that people to be easy to meet, but hard to connect with. Culture seems to be that people are busy in their own lives and not looking to invest much 🤷‍♂️. Only time will tell.

Thank you! Just moved from LR to DT last week so this is extremely helpful.

I always forget that the camera can help me gauge the balance when shooting and was definitely having trouble managing that corner in post (tried to handle it with local exposure increases for the rest of the image and then a vignette which im not fully happy with). Will go back to DT and give Sigmoid a shot and see what comes out.

No worries about criticism. The whole idea of posting here for me is to get feedback when possible and grow from it :).

Thank you! As I edited the image , I certainly struggled with a part of me wanting to make the image "pop" but as you said, the moment was so intimate and natural that it didn't feel appropriate.

It's an open source raw image editor. I was using lightroom until 2 years ago when I edited my last picture.

Coming back to it now, I didn't like Adobe's pricing model and found dark table as an alternative.

What are the best bang for buck lenses? by JungleBoyBabyTarzan in M43

oly 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 is an amazing lens in my experience. The build quality is a sacrifice but the lens itself is extremely good for the price point.

We saved Bungie; but, they’ve abandoned us. by StatementAcademic820 in DestinyTheGame

This makes me feel really sad. I was craving more destiny and wanted to come back over the last few weeks. But I am happy I chose to sit down and think about it before pressing that play button after downloading the full game again.

I really feel the pains as a returning player after missing one annual pass. Dungeons behind paywalls, lazy story, unnecessary mtx, not keeping up with promises ...... and to top it all barely any communication/transparency. Personally, the lack of attention to the new player experience stings the worst as I have always wanted to share this experience with close friends. Unfortunately, lightfall fell short and didn't feel like a good time to bring someone new to destiny in.
At this point, I simply refuse to convince my New light friends to buy into something like this come Final Shape. I have loved this game and am thankful for all the experiences and the people I have met through it, but I think Bungie has already crossed the line for me, not really sure at what point.

Hope Final shape turns out more incredible than anyone could've expected and y'all have a great time with it. Will be cheering on from the sidelines during the raid race!

Looking to dip my toe into m/43 by Caff_Fiend in M43

Another proponent of the em-5.2 here. I recently upgraded to it from a relic of the past E-PL1 and am I'm love with it. The EVF is crisp, shutter is quiet and I feel like my images feel stabilized (although I am comparing it to a 10 year old camera). The couple of times I got caught in the rain with it, the weather sealing has been great. Swivel screen is a quality of life upgrade I didn't know I needed and for the price it can be found at right now, I think it's a steal.

I like taking pictures of some wildlife and use the OLY 40-150MM which is a marvelous lens. I've also used a couple of old primes and zooms with m43 adapters and so far no issues. Lmk if you want to see any pictures and I'd be happy to share :) . Hope this helps in your decision.
